- The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the old city. - great breakfast and tasty home made yoghurt - lovely staff, very friendly and helpful - the room is nicely decorated and clean

- facilities are quite old, and the floor was noisy - there's a large public parking opposite to the hotel, however, the car park is only free from 7pm to 7 am, so we had to get up at 7 to pay for the parking (3 Franc per hour) - no lift, but luckily we travelled light. The stairs are small, it would be difficult to carry a big luggage up

Very good position so close to the barenpark. The receptionist and all staff was so lovely. They also gave us free public transport cards. The cheese at breackfast like in my deepest dreams. The room is full of style. The postcards! I loved spend the evening at the altes tramdepot bar nearby.

The absence of elevator sadly making the structure not very accessible. The pavemt of the room very crinkly but i think it was also part of the "boaty" atmosphere hahahah. Just a suggestion for the bathroom (bathroom was very clean but sadly there is no window) is to put an automatic deodorant or a stronger fan.

breakfast was lovely! full spread and very tasty the location is amazing - just a quick walk from the bear pit and right across the river room was big and spacious bathroom was great too! and extra bathrooms in the hallway was very nice

there isn't really a bus that gets you right to the hotel so walking from the train station is usually the fastest way I stayed on an extra bed and it wasn't very comfy (kinda understandable of course) but if you don't need one then that's irrelevant!

This place really shows what true hospitality means. Warm, caring staff, beautiful building, amazing breakfast with organic products and locally produced swiss cheese, good facilities and a big cosy bed. We were welcomed by the staff that helped us carry the suitcases to our room and there were Toblerones and water. Location is also amazing, in a walking distance to the city famous boulevard and rooms have a beautiful view. There is a room in the first floor with coffee and tea available for guests. I was there in snow days and it was truly magical.

Cute, quirky, homey hotel. Nice view. Right across water from old town. On tram line from train station to Paul Klee center. Was able to leave bags prior to check in. Nice quality soap, shampoo and lotion. Had room with shared bath but there was a basin in the bedroom. Coffee/tea station on first floor landing. Breakfast was nice.

I liked everything about the hotel. It was as advertised and pictured.

The location of a hotel is great but most of all it is so nicely eqiped, lively and a combination of old and new that it is really something special. I even felt no need to add a bucket of freshly picked roses in a room as I usually do :) Pefect, would stay again and again and again (and the cleaning lady Anita even alowed me to briefly look how some other rooms are eqiped and designed, they all are great - and Anita was so kind and helpful). Plus: the breakfast with all the variety of vegetarian and vegan food, fresh fruit, small portions of already made muesli and humus ... very nice!

Breakfast was good - lots of options. Enjoyed the small salon for coffee/tea. Liked the location near the Barenpark/old town, river, and Rose garden. Shared bathroom was small but clean and it didn't seem like anyone else was using it during our stay.

Room was right over the restaurant patio area and noise/food/smoke smells made it so we couldn't keep the window open (we had warm weather during our stay). Floors are super creaky and you will hear anyone else walking around, which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Hotel Landhaus is nicely located near the river and the Bärenpark. From there Bus 12 connects to the train station every 6 minutes. The room we got was very quiet and roomy with a large couch. The hotel is in an old building and the style had been maintained in the rooms, yet they are totally comfortable. Staff was beyond friendly, breakfast superb. Really enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Landhaus Hotel in Bern, and we absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a romantic vibe that added to the overall charm of the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. We enjoyed a delicious spread of freshly baked bread, croissants, fruit, cheese, and yogurt, among other tasty treats. The breakfast was the perfect start to our day, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation and quality of the food. The owners of the hotel were extremely kind and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. Their recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were spot-on and greatly enhanced our stay in Bern. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Landhaus Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, romantic getaway in Bern. We can't wait to go back!

Loved the beautiful decorations and interiors of the Hotel. The location was perfect with the amazing river and bridges into Bern old town super accessible. Patrick made our stay absolutely fabulous, best host, very warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the bed was a great thing to come back to after a big day out. The restaurant downstairs was great with the continental breakfast and even better for dinner if you didn't feel like leaving the hotel. .

Everything was perfect, I feel like new photos would do the hotel that much more justice.
