I really appreciated the tasty breakfast, a window that opens and a standing fan for hot summer days/nights, the nice bathroom, a desk at which to work in a comfortable chair, and a TV with lots of channels. The staff was super nice and it was great to be able to grab tea/coffee in the lobby at any hour. I never met the housekeeper, but appreciated my trash being emptied, etc. This hotel is across the bridge from the old city in a charming and beautiful neighborhood with fun restaurants and nice shops. It was very easy to walk everywhere, we never even took the bus until we left for the train station. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean hotel with very kind and helpful personnel. It's our second stay, and we have been very happy both times. The neighbourhood is very calm, and you can walk to the city center in some 20 minutes. We had a superior room this time, which is quite better - more space and light. Breakfast is pretty rich and varied, and they have a parking you can use (book in advance) at reasonable rates. They have been flexible with the departure time for the parking, allowing us to visit Bern also in the afternoon without having to move the car. We will definitely come back.

Position: it's quite close to the city center (tram n. 9 max 10 min) or 15 Min if you prefer walking. The zone is quiet and safe, even though there are not many lights around (actually, as almost everywhere in Bern). As the hotel provides you with a ticket to bus/tram for the period of your stay, it's a big plus! We also appreciated free tea/coffee offered by hotel, especially when it's cold outside. The breakfast was good, with a good variety of bread, cheese, hams, yoghurt etc, + good coffee. The room was tidy, with a comfortable bed and pillows; enough place for 2 person with language. Very friendly and polite staff! Recommended! Will stay here the next time when visiting Bern.

The location was great — close to the areas I had planned to visit. The room was clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the breakfast was excellent. Communication with the staff was smooth and friendly. The hotel had everything I needed, and the staff were pleasant and helpful in sharing information with me.

I came from a hot country, and during my stay, the weather in Bern was quite cold for a few days.

Very amicable approach by the staff, public transport bonus, delicious breakfast, possibility of sheltering my bicykle, also a good, large TV. Everything else (shower etc) worked well in a room. A welcome bonus was a bottle of water each day during summer days. I visited hotel Waldhorn many times for quite a number of years and I have been very satisfied each time, that is why I will choose hotel Waldhorn again when travelling to Bern Juraj Fogada, Czech Republic

A wi-fi signal in the room would deserve to be improved.

Very well positioned in Breitenrain - my favorite district in Bern - it is at a walkable distance from the center and close to the tram stop. The room was nice, the staff friendly and the breakfast offers a wide choice of food. There is a free coffee machine in the hall where one can grab a coffee any time during the day. Normally, one can find there also some croissant and/or fruit leftover from the breakfast.

Close to where I needed to be and to public transport. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet neighborhood. Modern bathroom. They let me store my suitcase before and after check-in. Online check-in is a good option and went smoothly.

Really small room: good to sleep, no room for anything else. In general, the hotel has a lot of narrow corners and feels a bit cramped. As in most Swiss cities: hotel-prices are generally very high, so don't expect too much for your money.

Location is perfect in heart of Bern and tram station nearby, staff is very hospitable and they are giving one day public transport for free.. view is awesome and quite environment. Clean and big rooms with Tub. They serves free hot drinks and croissants in reception which is much appreciated especially in Swiss. Breakfast need to be better however comparing to swiss hotels it's better.

We were greeted with friendly smiles and enthusiastic employees. The first woman who greeted us even gave us a map and highlighted some routes for us to walk and where to find transportation. She was so kind! I wish I would have got her name.

My only complaint was that the room was a little warmer than expected, but we opened the window and turned on our fan to get a nice breeze.

An adequate hotel, my single room was small but everything was there. It is a 15 minute walk to Old Bern. Greatest asset for me was the garage with charging facilities for my electric car. I also like the fact that windows open.Friendly staff!
