Nice room, clean and tidy. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Very easy access to the city center, although the hotel is located a bit outside. They offer free transportation in the city, even for the first route from the station to the hotel.

I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay or for someone who plans to spend at least some time in the room, as it us quite small. The bathroom door does not offer much privacy, so keep that in mind if you are not very comfortable with your co-traveler.

Loved the location and the accessibility of the city with the public transport pass provided. Our stay was only three nights but felt longer - in a good way. Looking out the window was enchanting. Breakfasts were good but better value on level 1 and in an expensive city like Bern really worth it. The room itself was basic but pleasant

The privacy factor with the shower (glass frosted door) is worth knowing about depending who you’re travelling with but not a deal breaker for us at all.

Very good location, near the tram station ,10’ from the centre.The hotel gave us a card with free unlimited access to public transport of the city . We bought extra brunch because we didn’t choose it at the beginning, and it was great and tasty .

We were 3, and we had a see through shower that wasn’t very comfortable. The shower also had an issue when you had shower with a lot of pressure, the bathtub was clogged and the water was pouring out. Also the rooms were a bit smaller than they are at the photos . They look more with a cabin of a ship .

Room was comfortable in good location near bus stop. Hotel provides guest pass which gives you free transport via bus or train which is great. Its located in the same complex as the Novotel which is a little confusing as to which door to check in. No top sheet on the beds, only quilt, we had to sleep with quilt cover as it was too hot to sleep with a quilt in summer.

Bunk bed is too close to the ceiling. My son got up at night to go to the toilet and hit his head on the ceiling.

The personal in the lobby was really friendly! The room was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet did have a lot of options and my 5 year old daugther got the buffet for free. The location is a big plus, just a few minutes away with the free of charge tram to downtown.

The prices of everything (room, parking) are a bit to high in relation to Germany, but i guess this are the standard prices in Switzerland.

The room is just like any other standard Ibis room, so there were no surprises there. The shower was amazing and it was very silent. The hotel is a little far away from the centre, but if you don't know, Bern has a tourist card with which you can ride the public transport for free. You just need to ask for your booking number at the hotel, and they'll explain how you can use it.

No major complaints, just the mattress, which was too soft for my husband (he has a back problem). So if you also have one, either ask for a more firm mattress or choose another hotel.

-Standard room like in every other Ibis Budget hotel (the bunk beds can be annoying above the double bed as you can bang your head at night if not careful) -Great receptionists, very professional and friendly -We also got free public transport tickets in the city for the duration of our stay. -Not close to amenities, but close to the tram stop so you can take that into beautiful Bern town center and be there in around 15 mins. This was ok for us as we wanted to be close to the motorway.

-Parking is very expensive! Be weary of that, since you will pay less for the hotel, but if you stay too long, the parking cost can really increase that cost so make sure it's worth it... (this was kind of offset with the free public transport tickets) -Not very friendly kitchen staff. She got angry with us because we had taken breakfast about 30 mins before closing and she rushed us, also breakfast is quite expensive and not worth it compared to breakfast in the town. -A bottle of water can get very expensive (we paid 6 swiss francs). Be sure to take water with you or drink tap water as apparently it's safe in Switzerland (we found out after).

Location not very central but center is 8 minutes away with the tram, very easy to reach. You receive from the reception a code which gives you access to to free transport for the first day, you only need to install the Bern transport app. Underground parking is also valid for 24h from arrival. Beds were comfortable, although the room is very small but it’s acceptable considering it’s a budget hotel It’s an excellent option for a 1 night stay.

We were in IBIS Budget Hotel, it was simple but served our purpose. The room was well planned with everything we needed, it was modern, quiet and clean and that was important for us. Staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel was busy due to Expo nearby. The parking spaces were often full when we got home and tight, many people have SUVs which take up more space but we did manage to find a place to park ever day. They helped us out at the reception every time.

We were actually happy with everything, drinks on the bar were expensive but it was Switzerland after all.

We stayed here for 2 nights, everything was perfect. Staff were nice and knew English very well. The location of the hotel is great in terms of calmness and view. They gave us a 2 day free transport tickets inside Bern which made it easy for us to go to city center for shopping. The breakfast was also perfect. The charger plug was different which the staff gave us one.

I wish there was hair dryer and a small fridge in the room facilities.
