Everything and everyone! I was on 4-day Easter weekend with my dog, everyone was caring and thoughtful, from the staff at the reception to housemaids. The restaurant is a gem: I had mouth watering lunches and dinners, well cooked and presented. The restaurant staff is adorable. I can’t praise this hotel enough. I already suggested it to many friends. The hotel is perfectly located to go hiking.

- No flexibility to open breakfast earlier at specific occasions. I was traveling for a big race and since it started early morning, I couldn't have hotel breakfast (they opened only at 7;30am on Saturday). I bought my breakfast and stored it in the room. Would have been nice to get at least a coffee. - There was no fridge in the room. Stored my stuff outside a window :) - Apart from shampoo there were no other toiletries in the bathroom

Lovely hotel in the centre of Lyss. Super clean, good size room and extremely quiet. The staff are very attentive, friendly and polite. The breakfast is generous including a wide selection of fresh ingredients

Pity there was no tea/coffee station in the room.

Easy access, good car parking. Friendly stall. Good room and quiet.

A reluctant negative is the very average breakfast. A hotel of this standard should offer a better selection and certainly hot food . A hard boiled egg hardly qualifies !

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The sound of the river stream water make me comfortable to have a good sleep. The restaurant of the hotel serves good food.

With a suitcase to top floor without life is not too easy. I may prefer a lower floor for next time. The bed is a little bit too soft for me.

Fanstastic late check-in, very well organised with keys etc. Lovely clean room with fresh white sheets and a view at the back over a small garden. Excellent breakfast in the charming old part of the building. Very helpful and friendly staff.

It was great value for money. Nothing to not like here.

Overall excellent, very clean. Room was comfortable with great view from window, nice washroom. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful room. Staff were very helpful.

The table was a little narrow for my laptop. Perhaps another towel in shower room. But these are only little things.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the town, a five-minute walk from the train station and 15-20-minute walk from a wooded park area. My room was very clean and nicely refurbished. The staff was helpful and lovely. The in-house restaurant was fabulous (although a tiny bit pricey) and the service superb.

My room had a view to town which was nice but it got a bit loud at night with people having drinks on the terrace just below. There was no minibar in the room (although there was one on the floor). The breakfast was nice but could have done with a little greater selection, perhaps some warm options such as eggs or sausages.

a bit expensive in particular the restaurant, but food was super good and then this is Switzerland :)

Breakfast on Saturday Garage parking with 220V-plug to charge electricity for our Tesla! Special effort for our early breakfast on Sunday morning. Good supper
