The hotel is, ideally, situated near to the Zollikofen train station but there was no noise problem from the trains in my room at the rear of the hotel. The hotel provided a clean and pleasant stay for my work with easy access for around 5 CHF for a single train journey into Bern. Breakfast is a cold continental meal with cooked meats, cheese, boiled eggs, jam, Nutella, breads including croissant, a selection of cereals, water, milk and juices as well as coffee and tea.

During my stay, the outside temperature was high (28 degree Celsius). The room did become warmer than I would like despite using the blinds and opening the windows. Wi-Fi in the room was limited to about 5 Mb/s up and download, which made some downloads and online meetings difficult. Outside my room, the Wi-Fi connection was better.

The hotel was very clean and the stuff was polite and helpful at all times. The room was big enough, the WiFi fast. The breakfast was an average to good breakfast with not a great selections of choices but enough to satisfy the most. The staff spoke English and helped.

No fridge in the room (it is common in Switzerland although greatly bizarre in 2024). No air-condition but it is not useful in Bern area 98% of the year. The hand wash, hair shampoo and body wash, all were the same thing which usually means that it is good for none of the three. Things that would run out at breakfast were not refilled. The price should be a bit lower.

Very convenient location from my point of view. I was a little afraid of the noise (railway/street) but no problem (at least in my room looking backside. Very friendly personnel and an outstanding hotel restaurant.

No bad points. As I have stayed for a week the breakfast was a bit boring but the lice lady taking care of it rewarded this.

The staff being professional and being helpful answered my questions and concerns. Helpful with a future booking. The selection of breakfast items was very good. And made fresh.

Close to the train station which was convenient for me. The noise was a bit high. But not bad.

Some traffic and train noise but good insulated windows helped.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and a clean room. Restorant with normal prices and very good food. Free parking in front of the hotel... I highly recomand the place.

Nothing that I can think of... Only one thing... The bed was to comfortable, so I had problems getting up in the mornings :)

Clean convenient room. Quiet, even tough perfectly located next to train station. Satisfied :)

Sadly enough - the adequate - yet not too extravagant breakfast buffet wasn't optional, for those who do not wish to spend money on pre-baked white bread and the typical fruit salad or cheese and ham platter.

Very good location, right next to Zollikofen train station. Nice and helpful staff. The hotel is also an old-school restaurant and you get a simple breakfast.

Overpriced, even for Switzerland.

The room was very clean. The shower in the bathroom was very large. I had to leave before the breakfast started, so they packed a lunch for me, sandwich, banana, and orange juice, plenty of good food to start the day.

The room was chilly, and the hall was warm -- would have liked some of that warmth in the room.

I can’t overstate how good the on-site restaurant is. Truly Excellent Italian food and wine. Very convenient as you don’t need to go anywhere for food and drink! Breakfast was hearty. Directly across from Bahnhof if traveling by train.

Parking lot is small, crowded, and not secure. Not ideal for motorcycles.
