very new hotel and quiet environment. near to city centre and nice view to the church.

I am totally satisfied just except when check out my credit card seems not successfully be transacted, this maybe makes the reception lady feel upset and impolite. personally I feel she should be more patient. and later another lady friendly resolved this small case. But still this is a nice hotel and recommended.

Location was excellent. Just outside is the tram station and close yet away from the noise of the old city ( 1 stop away) .. plenty of eateries 500 m away makes this easy to access and stay. It has a on site casino if that is your incentive to stay... the staff are polite and premises is very clean with a very nice bar. Room size is good with good amenities and daily impeccable housekeeping

In the room I stayed , there was no option to open window, no skylight or access of any open window or balcony and no fans in room that allows for fresh air or ventilation and this can be little overwhelming when hot or can be little claustrophobic (even though room sizes are not small) . Hence, it is preferable to take a balcony room. Breakfast is exorbitantly expensive here and not worth the price at all. The rest of the room amenities are great, including the free mini bar.

- Room was comfortable and spacious. - Friendly multilingual staff at check-in. - Free minibar, with fridge regularly restocked with water (sparkling and still), apple juice, and even beer. - Good coffee pod machine.

- Strangely small bins. - Room phone is impossible to use, and the in-room iPad does not provide instructions to call reception/housekeeping. - Be aware that the bridge and tram just outside the hotel are closed until Nov 2025 (though pedestrians can still cross).

Extremely convenient! The tram stops right in front of the hotel, making it easy to reach the city center, Bern Old Town, and other destinations. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary beer, apple cider, and mineral water (two bottles of each) daily during your stay. The staff is friendly, and it's within walking distance to the old town. Best of all, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking!

The mini bar was well stocked and generous. The bathroom was well designed, great water pressure, plenty of towels and I liked the quality of the toiletries. Coffee maker and teapot in room with a nice selection of coffees and teas. Housekeeping kept everything tidied and fresh. Free public transport in Bern a big plus.

The "courtyard" room is not on an outside courtyard but on a sunless gap between two buildings. This is a bit strange. Also I think the matress in the room, its time to replace. Bit lumpy.

The room was large with plenty of space for belongings . The free mini bar was excellent with drinks replenished every day. The breakfast choice was outstanding. Close to town to walk in or with tram stop outside. Great to have free local travel pass.

This is just a suggestion: For guests who don't drink alcohol, a non alcoholic beer would be nice in the mini bar.

The location is great! It’s not in old town but just cross a bridge. Line 9 just out of the hotel. It most runs every 5 minutes during weekdays. Mini bar is free. They will provide everyday. Hotel provides bus ticket. So you do not need to purchase any bus or tram tickets. It’s quiet during evening. Staff are very helpful!

The clean lady may need more training. They did not clean every spot just like other hotels did. But not a big deal. The hotel is renovated and clean.

Exceptionally good hotel with the best location you can ask for. On-site facilities were great with a restaurant and bar, and lounging area outside. Rooms beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and good noise insulation which is importing for a large and lively hotel. Parking on site is expensive but worth the convenience, with concierge service upon arrival. Location can't be beat. 2 minutes walk from the old city across one of the most beautiful bridges. Close to restaurants from all directions. Just lovely.

ROOM Premier King Bedroom with Balcony PROS - [ ] Free Bern city transportation card. Booked through booking.com and didn’t know needed to enter all the guest names for bern pass activation. It was easily resolved but to save time, sure all names are entered into the system upon booking. - [ ] Central - take number 9 tram from central station and alight three stops to kursaal. The hotel will just be across. Zytglogge and old town only one bus stop away. There’s also a grocery called Aldi at the bus stop. - [ ] Staff were very courteous. I broke my snowglobe and asked for a vacuum of the room at night. Special thanks to “Hyatt” (not sure if I heard it right) - [ ] Spacious - [ ] Free refillable drinks - still water, sparkling water, beer and apple juice - [ ] There’s a small balcony.

CONS - [ ] Sink is very small - [ ] English telephone use instructions would be nice

The hotel was in a good location, reasonably close to the center and practically overlooking the river. The rooms were comfy, although the only window facing the corridor of the other wing of the hotel was confusing in the beginning. Everything in the room was in good shape: the bed, the shower etc. The breakfast buffet was also good.

A window with an outdoor view would have been nice - considering this is not a discount hotel.
