This is a lovely place with lovely people managing. Very comfortable and nice to be a bit in the suburbs. It is easy to get to the main train station using the buses. Staff is excellent at being very helpful with directions and things to do.

Vehicle noise in the courtyard was unexpected. Unfortunately, the owners of the motorcycles like to rev their engines in the courtyard. You do have to take some sort of transportation to get to the areas in Bern that you want to see, but I did expect this. The public transportation is very efficient and easy to use and did not cause much inconvenience. Breakfast a bit on the boring side.

Arrived early to drop off my bag but the room was already ready! The lady at the front desk was very helpful, getting me set up with the Bern Ticket. Easy journey to the train station. The room was large and bright, plenty of space to open the suitcase. Very comfortable bed. Great modern bathroom. Nice balcony (there was a concert outside one night I stayed that I could listen to from my balcony!). Lots of good local restaurants. Great breakfast included. Excellent value for money. Would happily return, especially as the city is just stunning, loved my time here. Drinks available at all times, also like the recycle station in the breakfast room, I wish more hotels did this.

Genuinely nothing I disliked.

Came for the Women's Euros and the Hotel was located half way between the stadium and the main old town, both walkable, but also with good bus transport link. Reception staff were amazing and made us very welcome. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was a traditional continental one, made up of cheeses, cold meats, cereals, yoghurts, fruit and a wide assortment of breads as well as juices and Good coffee

Whist not a fault of the hotel, Breakfast time was very busy and most of the hotel guest was there in the small room between 9am and 9:30am so you had to wait for a table to become free. For the cost of the room, which whist basic and included everything we needed for 1 night was expensive.

This is an inexpensive and plain sort of place, a kind of hostel/hotel, run by a "Genossenschaft" (community). It is cheap and friendly, but not at all luxurious. The community functions as a charity, providing services to its needy users, and letting rooms seems to be a small part of its operations. There is a kitchen in the basement which everyone staying there can use. The kitchen, like everything else, is very clean, and if you use it you are expected to wash up your dishes and leave the whole place clean. Breakfast is provided, but it is plain and simple. Location is excellent, in a small and very quiet street, just off a busy main road with frequent buses (number 20) into the centre of town.

The room was very small.

The room is absolutely beautiful, everything is very clean, employees are friendly, and the breakfast tasted fresh. The hotel is simple and was just enough, it had everything I needed. I also like the shared bathroom, cozy like a home, but still spacious and clean. Only a minute away from busstop.

The bed springs are too hard on my back. I can't relax in the breakfast room because some employees make too much noise: Funny, one night shifter was preparing breakfast buffet and was smashing everything (rearranging cuttlery, closing cabinets), but when I stood up to my room only then he tried to be polite and wanted to make sure he wasn't bothering me. Too late bro.

Budget friendly Hotel Location: Location was really good. 5 to 10 mins from Bern Main Station through bus or you could just walk to the station in 15 minutes. Nearest bus stand is Gewerbeschule. Room : Room was clean and quite spacious with basic things such as heater, bed, wardrobe, attached toilet bathroom . Breakfast: Breakfast starts at 6.30 A.M everyday which was good. Also we can access Tea/Coffee 24X7 for free. Staff were really helpful and also friendly.

All the switches in the room were quite inaccessible and hard to reach.

What a sweet and warm accommodation. Other than finding the place and it being rather expensive, it is a lovely spot that we would recommend. We had a private bath, but even those rooms which shared one only shared with one or two other rooms. There is a great breakfast included in the price (that helps for sure). Additionally, there is a 24/7 coffee/tea bar which you feel comfortable enough to use. Further there is a guest kitchen in the basement if you wish to cook a meal. We did so one night and found all we needed. (That includes a refrigerator where you can leave your items – labeled of course.) We were greeted very warmly, not something we experienced in all of Switzerland. The place is clean and comfortable and a terrific location for getting to the tourist areas of Bern.

They really should give better directions from the tram stops as it can be confusing. There are actually two stops pretty close by. But you don’t want the one with a very steep staircase to go down (or up). Additionally, more directions would help new-comers understand that you don’t have to go to the end of the line when you think you need to take “Wankdorf Station.” Please better directions.

The room was functional and had a balcony. Staff were really helpful on what to do in Bern and offered left luggage after check out. Free transport in Bern during your stay with the Bern welcome app code provided was great. Close to a bus stop that linked to the train station. Was great to have breakfast included in the price of the room.

Breakfast was fairly basic, no cold milk to go with the cereal, but can't complain as it was included in the price of the room. The road nearby was a little noisy.

This was my first time staying in a room with shared bathroom. I had reservations but I wanted to save some money. To my surprise, the bathrooms were always available and always squeaky clean. It was so impressive I don't even know how they do it. The room was nice, bed comfortable and the free breakfast was really nice... much nicer than I would expect for the price I paid for the room.

There is no elevator and i was on the third floor. I'm lazy. But it's not much of an issue especially since I didn't carry luggage.

+ Fantastic and calm location ( very close to the bus stop and the bern central railway station. It takes just 3 minutes to reach the bern central station from that bus stop. Buses to that stop are very frequentand we need not wait for more than 10 minutes) + Great and healthy breakfast with buffet system. The breakfast buffet included boiled eggs, crossaints, bread varieties, cheese varieties, butter varieties, bread toasters, oats, musli, warm milk, honey, etc . + The tea/coffee machine is available for 24 hours and is free for use. This is really great. The machine also gives warm milk for free. + The hotel is cleaned regularly and all the common areas, shared bathroom and shared toilets were clean and well maintained in a hygienic manner. + The hotel had a lift facilitiy and it was easy to carry luggage to the room in top floors. + the people in reception were friendly and helpful.
