Nice location, and a big room. The staff at the reception was super friendly and professional, they addressed even the smallest request immediately. Big and comfortable shower. Tasty and reach breakfast.

Plastic spoons, empty mini-bar (with free water though), instant creamer, one piece of soap for three days, absence of hygienic bags, cockroach in the room - I would not expect this in the 4 star hotel. The cleaning lady showed up at 8 am despite our request to come after 11 (we did not have 'do not disturb' sign in our room. The bedding was changed only after our reminder when we spent 4 nights in the hotel. The hotel is good my because of the cleaning I would not give it 4 stars

The location was great, very close to the train station, the old town, and lots of restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The blackout shades were great. The staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. The hotel had umbrellas we could borrow for the rain and they had bottled water available whenever we needed it.

The rooms were very expensive and breakfast was expensive too (so we had breakfast at the train station instead). Very plain, boring, simple room. Also, their restaurant is closed on Sunday which is a slight inconvenience if you have to stay on a Sunday night.

Spacious room. Quiet and well located to the station and Christmas markets. The receptionist gave my daughter a goodie bag on arrival which was well received.

One evening there wasn’t any hot water. I phoned reception but I decided to go to bed without my shower before it got fixed. The next morning nobody in reception mentioned it to me but it was hot again. I had to ask the cleaner for tea and coffee for my room as she’d forgotten to replenish it.

Location and size of room were ok..the problem was the a/c, we stayed 6 nights in the hotel with a fan they provided me. Air condition did not work properly during our 6 nights in the hotel. We reported the malfunction of the air condition but the electrician and general.manager informed us that the air condition was working. This was not true.

Hotel Savoy was very welcoming. Unfortunately we only stayed one night as we were in transit but the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was very pleasant and it was very well situated for the railway station.

Only one night we didn’t find anything that we didn’t like except we had to keep the window shut as it opened to the street and it was Saturday night and fairly noisy. The air conditioning was very efficient though.

The location couldn't be better! Fantastic shower with great water pressure With the outer shades down, that room stayed pitch dark. Perfect for sleeping late! Possibly the quietest city hotel I've ever been in Free water in the little room refrigerator and at the front desk Reception staff was so friendly and helpful

I have no complaints

Location is excellent. Staff is always nice, polite and helpful. Room is decent enough. We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4, they gave us the connecting rooms which is very convenient. The young lady at Front Desk gave us a dinner discount voucher from a nearby restaurant when I asked for restaurants’ reference which turned out quite nice. Thank you.

Location, staff, room

The courtyard view was not a courtyard but looked like a scrappy backyard with lots of pipes. Today hotels need to have streaming services available on their TV so people can log into their own accounts. Especially when you don't speak the local language.

The room had everything you would expect in a fine hotel and incredibly clean. Actually felt the hotel interior was recently renovated. I did mention this to the management and I was told the renovation was 7 years ago. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. Great location for a 2 day walking tour of a very fine city.

Everything about our stay was perfect.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in front of Bern Banhof and many shops surrounding. The room is nice and clean. The space is enough for 2 persons.

The only problem is only the limitation selection of breakfast, not so variety and keep same every day.
