One of the best breakfast options while traveling in Switzerland. The staff, especially on receprion desk, was cheerfull and helpful. Cleaning personnel was professional. It's also nice to have little perks like water coolers, ironing room, "green" initiatives. The location is close to tram and bus station, even if it is not cental

The first issue was a check-in process, because unfortunately during a rush hour period (around 14-15 o'clock) only one person on reception is not enough for the queue of guests. The second issue is questionable hotel design, which is more about style and less about usefulness. Examples are numerous: a room with 2 separate beds is a room with 1 "king bed" + 1 smaller bed; only 1 chair for 2 persons (save for backless stool); semitransparent glass to bathroom area - awkward, if you are just friends or with kids/parents; cold loft type walls with non user friendly conditioning system; not enough light; etc. It's nice for day or two, but not for longer stay

Great stay! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Everything was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the facilities were really nice. The location is perfect. A pleasant surprise was the option to rent a high-quality umbrella for just €3.00 a day, definitely a handy addition!

The pillows weren’t very comfortable, and the room felt a bit small. I also missed the freshly squeezed orange juice that many other Ibis hotels usually offer at breakfast. Additionally, the car parking was quite expensive. That said, the overall experience was very good and I still enjoyed my stay.

Our stay at Ibis Styles Bern was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding with fresh hot food and a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, breads and coffee. The highlight of our stay was the amazing staff. Jamil at the front desk during the evening shift was the most helpful and engaging staff member we encountered in many years of traveling. Jamil not only answered all our questions and engaged in great conversation, he went above and beyond his call of duty to help return our son's retainer from Switzerland back to NYC. We are so greatful for his effort and kindness and as a result would only stay at Ibis Styles Bern on our next trip. Thank you very much for your fantastic staff and our great experience Boris K

Good location - 20 minute walk from the station or 6 minutes via tram with the nearest tram stop barely 2 minutes from the hotel. Pizzeria just across the road and Coop supermarket nearby were very handy. Very friendly and great staff. Good breakfast selection of hot and cold options with limited tea and coffee available outside of these hours. Very clean room. Slightly small if there are 2 people and depending on how much luggage you have. Minimalist furniture. Good shower. Water machines on all floors.

There is only one sliding door for the shower and sink and toilet so only one part can be closed. This may get awkward depending on who you travel with. Pillows could be a lot more comfortable.

The food, staff and location were very good. Very pleased that transport into the city was at the door. Coffee was available all the time, which was excellent and much appreciated.

The decor in the room is a matter of taste. Personally, I thought the industrial look wasn't suitable for the room to sleep in - it took a while to get used to the concrete look, it seems cold and bare. It was fine in the reception and eating area. Other than that we were very happy with everything.

I stayed in this hotel for a night during our family visit to Bern from the 27th to the 28th, having already had the opportunity to stay at another Ibis in the past. This experience was even better than the one before that, as the rooms were really nice, spacious and clean and had everything we could need for our brief stay. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was calm and quiet despite the central location. The staff at the reception and during breakfast was very helpful and cordial. Having free access to public transport and a tram stop very close by made everything so much easier. We really hope to visit again in the future, as Bern is a gorgeous city.

We were provided a “Bern Pass” for free public transportation within the city. The hotel was located just two stops away from the train station and was well served by Bus #10, which ran every 10 minutes. The modern concrete hotel offers very functional rooms with efficient use of space. We enjoyed the water fountain on each floor. The WiFi was excellent. The breakfast buffet was amazing, including a separate section for vegan/vegetarian guests. Complimentary coffee and tea were available 24 hours. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The staff throughout the hotel was very friendly and professional. We will definitely come back again.

Our stay at Ibis Styles Bern City was nothing short of perfect, especially since we were there celebrating our honeymoon. The hotel offered us a cozy and stylish room on the 5th floor, with lovely views that added a special touch to our romantic getaway. What really made our experience stand out was the exceptional service. Federico and James were particularly attentive, going out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. Their kindness and effort to make our honeymoon extra special did not go unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful for their warm hospitality. The hotel's location is fantastic—situated in a quiet area yet just a short walk from the city center. We loved being able to explore Bern easily during the day and return to such a comfortable and serene environment at night. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of variety to start our day right. In summary, Ibis Styles Bern City provided the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bern. This hotel truly made our trip unforgettable!

Every thing. Its peacefull facilt with very good restaurant they are offering fresh break fast every morning with lot of food variety. Coffee and tea is available 24 hours free of cost. It is neat and clean facility. Room cleaning service daily as per request. It os very close to bus stand.. Room size very good. Room AC working well. Front dest staff and kitchen staff is very cooperatiove. I stayed in hotel one night and was perfact safe and enjoyable stay. Good room with outside view. In fact if I will come again in this city, I will stay here. Thanks a lot to hotel management and staff.

We loved the fact that they allowed an early check-in for us because the room was ready. This was incredible as we got to adjust for the warm weather after coming from Murren. We found the room to be totally adequate, cool and quiet. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well run. We liked the water access in the halls. The breakfast was fantastic with everything you can imagine, including amazing coffee. They run breakfast early so you can catch your train out, which is highly appreciated. They are very transparent about the room rate when you enter the lobby. We just really appreciated everything about this hotel. It wasn't directly in the old town but was a 4-5 min bus ride from the central station. Buses and trams were very frequent near the hotel. Unbelievable value for Bern.
