We rented 2 connecting rooms, it was nice to have 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms available. The place was clean and comfortable. We used the kitchenette to cook breakfast, so it came in handy.

WARNING: The only issue we faced was leaked reservation details and an attempt to be defrauded by someone with the information. They had the full name, date, place, phone number and perhaps the home address. I was asked over watsapp to provide my credit card details in order to guarantee the confirmation (when my reservation has already been paid and they even nee that it was prepaid)

General is very good, a new, clean and decent hotel, bus station is very close to the hotel. We stayed in Christmas, there was no supermarket opened, and the hotel has vending machines for foods, really helped. We also got the activation code for Bern bus ticket, only need to activate it on the App.

Room wall's soundproof seems not good or the sound may from the pipe of restroom. This is the only concern point.

The hotel is for budget travellers and has self catering facilities so we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and the facilities. It was very comfortable and quiet. The bed was very good and we slept well. It was nice to have pods for the coffee machine. The bathroom was well fitted clean and modern. It was a bonus to have UK TV available. There were machines in the lobby that provided snacks and items useful for travellers.

We were very concerned that a couple of days after staying here we received a request for our bank details from Los Lorentes so that our payment could be "confirmed". The message appeared to come via Book.com and asked for us to click on links. We don't know if Los Lorentes was hacked or their Booking.com account but this message looked genuine and was repeated three times. We tried to contact Booking.com customer services by a chat but had no response. The hotel itself became aware of this and confirmed that this was a fraud. We recommend that travellers should be wary of messages like that and are grateful that the hotel reacted to the fraud.

This an Intelligent Hotel. Intelligent systems allow you to activate the bernwelcome app ahead of your arrival, and messages from the hotel help you check in with a clear (not canned) instruction set for the access codes and key cards. Intelligent staff respond to your questions with a smile and have a customer-centric attitude. They even shared that the biggest natural pool in Bern will be up soon when asked about the construction near the hotel. Everything is efficient in this place from check-in to check-out. It's like being in Japan in a European country. Of the hotels we stayed in over the past weeks (in Zurich, Vevey and Geneva), this one is the bestest (better than the best), bestest value for money, comfort and service hands down.

Oh, we wanted to cook some food to have a taste closer to home. That was the plan when we searched for a place that should be near a grocery store/ marketplace and where we could whip up a dish or two. But we got scared of the fine in case the fire alarm goes off as we cook. So we opted to bank on the safe side and ate out instead. The signage/ reminder card about the fire alarm was very helpful as we appreciate rule-based efficiency and preventive discipline.

Here’s a breakdown of everything that made our stay special: Accommodation & Facilities The apartment came with a fully furnished kitchen or kitchenette, fully stocked with essential utensils and cookware. As vegetarians, this was invaluable to us—particularly in Switzerland, where dining out can be costly, and vegetarian options are limited. We happily made use of the kitchen facilities, allowing us to prepare our own meals just as we like them. The room was impeccably clean, quiet, and met all our expectations, giving us a perfect retreat after long days exploring. While we did wish the room were slightly more spacious, it still fulfilled all our needs for a restful and peaceful stay. Should you need anything extra for the kitchen or room, the reception is more than happy to assist. The staff at Los Lawrence were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Location & Accessibility The location is wonderfully convenient—only about 100 meters from the bus stop (Bus No. 101/100), which reaches Bern station in just 10 minutes. A nearby Aldi supermarket, located next to the bus stop, provided easy access to all essentials. For those who enjoy nature, there are two beautiful jungle trails just across from the bus stop and behind the hotel, perfect for scenic walks or refreshing runs. Ease of Travel We used Bern as our base and traveled extensively across central and western Switzerland, making full use of Switzerland’s efficient train network. After our day trips, it was always a pleasure to return to our quiet, cozy apartment for a night of peace and rest. Due to the lovely experience, we even extended our stay by two more days.

Nice new modern place. ROOM was a good size. Bathroom was great. Clean and comfy. Able to cook or reheat meals.Aldi just a few steps away. Could take to mezzanine to eat as had tables and chairs. Responsive service when issues arose. Laundry on site - pay for use of washing machine and dryers free. Have clothes rack if you ask. Bus stop so close and easy to get into main area. Just need to be aware bus coming out of city some do a Uturn at Guterbahnhof stop so make sure you either get off here or on bus that doesn't u turn google maps didn't differentiate. Was a very comfy stay and I'd stay here again.

Nothing really - just building site near but that's not hotels fault. Pillows go bit flat and when I remembered to ask for an extra was after reception closing time.

Close to Aldi. Close to 31 bus which goes direct to Main train station in 15 minutes. Free Bern travel pass for bus and trams with this accommodation. Very clean, modern and great location. Highly recommended

It was very clean, the bed was good. It is perfect that you get an ov card to travel to the city. You get there by ten minutes. The kitchen has decent equipment. The bathroom is nice. We also used the washing machine and they were perfectly clean. Because of the heat we also went to the nearby public (free!) swimming pool. It was a really short walk, you could see los lorentes from there. Just overall great!

There are high fines if the fire alarm is set off by accident. So be aware when you are cooking. Luckily it did not happen during oud stay.

Superb, modern hotel - everything was very clean and efficient. Room service was daily and very efficient. The hotel is situated very close to bus routes 101 & 107 (free to travel on using the BernWelcome app included with the booking) meaning that you have only a 10 min bus ride into the centre of Bern at pretty much any time of day (or night). Buses were frequent and very clean. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again :-) Thanks for making it a great trip to Switzerland.

The bed was a little uncomfortable (too soft) but I appreciate this is a personal preference.

Spacious, clean and have a lot of facilities in and outside of room including useful conference/work space. Good WiFi and TV. Bed comfortable. Near supermarket and bus stop.

A bit far from town centre. Self-Check in without on site staff could be tricky for those not digitally savvy eg older people. Next to construction site and gets noisy in the morning. Air conditioning didn’t work and have mosquitoes when opened window. Some instructions on how to operate electric window blind would be helpful.
