This is a renovated building with freshly remodeled rooms accessible by a modern good-sized elevator. Our room was large, everything was very clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the TV got lots of channels. A small problem with front door code access was quickly resolved via a WhatsApp message to the host. We had no trouble using the elevator to bring our bikes up to our room.

There is a ground floor restaurant but breakfast was not available during our stay. While the self check-in is fairly straightforward, the reservation has an extra step: an emailed registration link that you use to pay the city tax and provide contact info. This is less convenient than a typical booking.com reservation.

The location is perfect. It is close enough to the train station that walking is about 7 minutes. We chose the bus and it dropped us off less than a block from the hotel. The room is exactly as described. It was clean and everything worked. We enjoyed the balcony to sit a watch the area. The roll down shutters were nice since they darkened the room and made sleeping-in easier. There is a restaurant below. Breakfast is served there. It looked very nice but we didn't get a chance to stop in. The old area is a block one direction and shopping is about a block in the other direction. The hotel has been under new management and a new owner for a year. He is very friendly and has the enthusiam to keep the hotel as beautiful and better. The elevator was nice and useful especially when we arrived.

Super new, everything extremely nice. The service was excellent: It is a self-checkin place and the day I was arriving I had not yet completed it. They kindly contacted me just to make sure all was fine, and also gave me parking tips. Thank you!

Parking is not super easy. In the evening (I think after 8pm?) the metered spots are free until 7am the next morning, then I think you'll have to move your car, and the spots are 2hr max. Very nice hotel in a quiet area in Biel. The owner is very nice, the check-in procedure was seamless, and I could check in also at a later hour, at around 9 PM! The room was very clean and equipped with an electric water boiler for tea or coffee.

It's a hotel. Nice, clean, comfortable. And close. To everything. You can walk. And very close to the train station. Everything about it is good. I advise everyone who visits the city of Biel. To stay in this hotel.

The hotel was very well situated at the city center and close to the old town of Biel. The room was very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again!

Noisy location, especially in the summer when the windows must be opened. Some cigarette smoke from below restaurant can drift in through the windows.

Our room was extremely hot, no A/C and only 1 window so impossible to get a stream of fresh air but we had a fan which really helped.
