The location of the hotel was really good. Also, I liked the room .

The sheet of the bed were not changed. But the main thing I did not like was the time of checked out, the team was really helpful except that they let me wait at the reception to check the room by the manager who was sitting on his room working on his computer . I have asked about his name and i was told he is the supervisor and his name is Mohammed. He couldve go up and check the room (although there is no mini bar) but he rather to stay until he finishes his work and then he went up and i had to stay more time waiting along with my family . I have been in many hotel for the last two weeks across Switzerland and Italy and I haven't face anything like this.

View from the corner suite (room 606) was amazing! Location near the Aare River, centre city, and train station is a huge bonus. Staff were helpful, friendly, and attentive. English-speaking staff are much appreciated! Clean and comfortable accommodation. Liked the bonus half-bathroom near the entry of the room. A perfect spot to host a couple of guests for evening drinks with spectacular views of the Solothurn Cathedral.

Would have loved a microwave for heating small food items. Traveling as an American, would have liked to have washcloths in bathroom, although I know this isn't standard in Switzerland.

Great view. The staff on the service desk were very helpful. Thank you for the loan of the power adapter and umbrella.

The blanket was a bit small and pillow too flat. Tea, milk, and sugar weren't replenished on the second day. Air-conditioning was a bit cold even after increasing temperature. Prices at the restaurant was a bit expensive.

I think I got the best room in the hotel. 6th floor at the corner with an amazing view.. The spa is very nice.

The room should be cleaned properly. I've found some walnuts and a broken fake nail on the floor... The spa opening times, I wanted to use the spa in the morning before checking out, but it only open from 3pm. Should be more variety in breakfast.

A large, clean room and bathroom in a great location. A short walk to the train station (5 to 10 minutes) on the banks of the river. It was a short walk across the bridge to the Old Town. Had a part view of the river and some of the Old Town monuments from my room. The food at the on-site restaurant was also excellent!

It was a very hot and the air-conditioning didn't work well. You also needed to use the room key to keep the aircon on, which took longer to cool the room down when I'd been out for some time. The hotel also took an extra $100 upon check-in, as a "hold" fee on my card, which took several days to be refunded after I'd checked out. I understand that this has become normal practice for some hotels but it would have been good to be notified of this before I'd arrived, so I could plan my finances accordingly.

• Very tidy, comfortable, modern and luxurious rooms. The huge windows to the floor makes the room brighter and give you a breathtaking view to the river and the city cathedral. • The breakfast is very delicious, so much variety of food and drinks. In general the food in the hotel restaurant is very good presented and tastes good. • The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you. • The hotel also has a bar at the very last floor with a magnificent view again as well as a welness center where they will take care of you and make you feel very special. • The location is great - the train station is 5 mins away by walking, there are many bus stops around as well. The city center, old town is also 5mins away, there are a lot of stores, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and places for a walk and relax nearby the river. I highly recommend this place and the town in general because there is definitely a lot to be seen there. It is an aggregate of many architecture, culture, history and beautiful views.

Great location, on the river and a few minutes walk from the old city. On site parking was a plus, though above ground availability (which is free) is limited. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, though on the small size.

Buffet breakfast at CHF34 is not good value. I don’t know if it would have been better to prepay. Unfortunately there is no breakfast a la carte option.

The location is perfect. The center is reachable in a few minutes. My dog was greeted with the finest dog food and bowls for his convenience. The front desk staff is very friendly. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is clean.

To my greatest surprise, unfortunately, the shower gel bottle was empty in the bathroom. The coffee machine didn't work properly, only giving us a tiny bit of extra strong coffee even though we pressed the button for middle-size coffee.

We spent a night here after watching a show at the KulturFabrik Kofmehl. The hotel is wonderfully located on the Aare River with a magnificent view of the Cathedral from the restaurant. It is also within easy walking distance from the venue and the train station. Comfortable and clean rooms. We spent an enjoyable hour in the Wellness centre too.

No one on the desk at checkout and there were a number of people lingering waiting to be served.

the view was nice from the the room toward the river and feel comfort about the size of the room and facilities except Aircondition.

the air conditioned wasn’t working for two days and it was quite hot , we informed that it wasn’t work for a week before and we tried to keep windows opened to keep the room cool but we suffered from the insects.. I had booked to another hotel and far away from Solothurn and come back after repairing the air condition
