Hotel is next to train station, one can even use the park and rail parking and there is an AVEC convenience store very close to buy fresh bread in the morning and all essentiels. It is fairly quiet (outside in the countryside) and the BLS train takes one to Bern within 20-30min. I appreciated the extra towels. Not quite sure why I had no access to the lounge room-would have liked to work there with my laptop instead of having to use the cold, rusty and small metal desk in the room. The bed was comfortable despite the cold, metal bed frame.

One has to get used to the 24/7 concept (no staff around). There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the entrance door to my room. Had it been forgotten by the cleaning staff? Otherwise, the roomed seemed clean. The “metal” furniture is unusual and not so user friendly. Chair wasn’t comfortable and the metal (rusted) desk plate makes working “cold”. I think the price is highly exaggerated (CHF 155.10 with genius discount) for a room of that small dimension with no balcony in a place like Schüpfen, especially if there is no staff, no breakfast included and lack of comfort.

Beds crammed into an alcove with access only on one side so that I had to climb over my wife to get out of bed. No bedside lockers, no cups or glasses paper, plastic or otherwise we stayed on a Thursday night when the only restaurant in the area was closed ruhetag. Nothing else within 5 miles.

Nice location, quiet, and calm l. The bedroom is comfortable and there is no noise also if it is between the train station and the road. Easy to park in front of the hotel

The hostel is nearby the train station and is easy for you to check in and out as you don’t have to wait for the owner anymore bcz you can do it yourself.

the show has a bit of weird door that cant be properly closed

once I understood how everything worked the booking in system and where my room was for a start it was ok

no staff just a automated system that was a bit confusing had to put my country in done it 3 times always the same before it would accept it , where the room numbers was was just notices on the walls with arrows my room was outside so arrow just pointed to railway line , was water there but didn’t say if you bought it or just took it there wasn’t any prices by the stand , all just a bit confusing on a first visit would be better with at least one person there

The room was spotless and had everything you needed, except for a toothbrush. But there is a convenience store nearby, so this is not a big problem. The train station is just a one-minute walk from the hotel, and Wifi is also ok.

Because the hotel is outside of Bern, you won't get a Bern ticket for traveling inside Bern. Instead, you have to buy a ticket whenever you go to Bern and tickets for traveling inside Bern. The train to Bern comes every thirty minutes so remember to plan. But this was a mistake on my part when booking the hotel; I need to check more carefully next time. I didn't like how hard the chair was, and I used my laptop on the bed because it was too uncomfortable to sit at the table.

Room was very nice with a balcony with table & chairs. Clean. Nice view! Comfortable bed & pillows. Very easy access to Bern by train which was steps from the hotel. Convenience store at train station was good for purchasing coffee and items for breakfast.

The bed had no headboard and was in the middle of the room. I like to sit up in bed and watch TV before I go to bed.
