Breakfast was good quality and delicious, with good variety. Cheeses were superb. The room was silent, clean, well-organised, with huge window that almost functioned like a tiny balcony. The window opened for a small meadow with tiny lambs (and a couple of attached moms), so in the morning I woke up for the fresh village air and the soft occasional meee-s of the lambs. I can really recommend, great fun. Bed was very comfi; I spent there 3 nights, and I slept really well there. This small hotel also has a superb location: train takes only 14 minutes to Bern Main Station, the hotel is just on the other side of the road, but still: during these 3 days I never heard (or saw) the trains from the hotel at all. Also the view from my window was nice. All in all: great stay! I can only recommend. The hotel seems like a family-run enterprise, and there is a restaurant, open for quite long, downstairs. Still, staying on the first floor, I never heard any noise or voices from the restaurant either.

The stairs. I am OK with having no elevator (it is a small hotel, and it should be no problem to climb to the first floor), but the stairs were pretty narrow. For me this was not a problem, but if somebody is with larger/heavier luggage, or older people with not so good balance - these narrow steps can be dangerous.

The staff was nice and helpful. We were able to take the breakfast as takeaway, since we left before 7 am. The hotel is pet friendly and quiet. The parking is free of charge. Right across the street is the train station and a small shop. Bern is 20 minutes away and is very beautiful. Your can also find a gas station near the hotel.

It was very hot in the room and there was no air conditioning or ventilator. We knew this before booking (AC). We left the windows open during the night, but since the window faces a terrace, on which the people sometimes stay, we had to use the curtains over the window, so that we had privacy and no one could see inside. Because of this, the air didn't circulated properly and it was not cooling down. We were there only 2 nights. But for the dog was not so chilling.

Having parking was great! I liked more what was around the property. There was a grocery store across the street and a train station.

They NEED to change their hand towels and bath towels. They were so old and faded! No absorbency at all and felt scratchy. With the amount of money they charged, they should purchase new towels. Also, the breakfast was very mediocre.

In a smaller town. Nice country drive out to the town. Nice walking path out back of the property. Good breakfast.

Our room's only window opened to another small room. The windows had been left open in that room so we could get some ventilation if we so desired. Someone has smoked in that room prior to us checking in, so when we opened our window it smelled horrible of smoke. Since there was no AC we had to put up with the smoke smell in order to stay cooler. Invited 4 mosquitos in.

So appreciated the kindness and service of the staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent, reasonably priced and delicious. Location was optimal for us as we visited friends in the village. The room was adequate and it was nice to have a window for light.

The room was meagerly decorated, but the bathroom was en-suite and pleasant enough. The bed was adequate but a bit low to the ground for us. The stairs were a bit challenging for my wife, but the staff again was more than willing to help us get to our room. Would definitely stay here once again.

Across the street from the train station, 20 minutes from Bern on S3. Everything was clean and what was listed was provided. The room was small but comfortable for a couple.

Warning: the shower goes from warm to scalding hot with turning the lever by a milimeter.

Good location. The train station is about 30m in front of the building which is great. Very quiet and comfortable though. Check in until late is available.

Breakfast options were quite limited. I would say that the breakfast was about 6-7/10. I expected to have a small fridge in the room.

Great location, especially for renting a car , less than 5k till the motorway. Very clean , and the food is delicious! Highly recommend.

Hotel was basic but very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was travelling with dog and there were no dog surcharges and a good dog walk behind the hotel

It was a little further from Bern than I thought. Was only 20 mins on train but cost 9CHF each way. The restaurant and bar closed on Sunday and nothing open nearby

Another well picked hotel by myself. Food here more than perfect. The beer is really nice too
