Everything! The hotel was grand inside, with a lovely terrace out front with amazing views of the mountains. There was also a great looking terrace at the back but my stay wasn’t long enough to try it out. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable (also with great views). I’ve stayed in many hotels across Europe over the last 30 years and this is my favourite so far! I only booked the hotel for an overnight stop on the way to Italy, and principally for its proximity to the Stelvio Pass. If I had known how nice the hotel was beforehand, I would have booked it for the return leg.

Google Maps sent me on a wild goose chase, but that’s not the hotel’s fault!

Breakfast was quite good. Food in the restaurant could be better. We liked the old fashioned furniture in the dining area . However the bedroom was very modern und reasonable well equipped

We would have liked a teas-made. The location would be wonderful, however the traffic which is horrendous during the summer months. Santa Maria needs a by-pass urgently

We arrived very late but were still able to have a lovely dinner in the restaurant. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the best was exceptionally comfortable. There is limited parking at the front but it was not busy so we were able to park easily. The building itself is very pretty and the surrounding area is beautiful!

We had asked for an early breakfast but when we came down, everything was closed. Not a big issue though

Belle Epoque Building in a village, historic architecture. Good location. Extremely nice service and great food.

Great hotel, room and service was very friendly and attentive. Perfect for a short or longer stay. Location in the heart of Val Mustair provides excellent location for daytrips, hikes etc.

The hotel is well-located and easy to find on the edge of the village of Santa Maria. There is plenty of free parking right across from the hotel. Our room was comfortable and had a nice balcony with great views over the valley.

The hotel has a lot of traditional furniture and plenty of charm, which we liked, but some areas such as bathrooms should be renovated. The buffet breakfast was OK but choices were rather limited. Considering the price of the room, we expected more variety.

The hotel is located in a small village which has a couple of restaurants & cafes. The hotel itself is very well looked after, offers very nice food & is full of history, well worth a meander around spotting all the paintings & artifacts. Ideally situated for the Stelvio Pass.

A friendly welcome from the owner. Very good local food. Excellent location.

Bed not particularly comfortable but that is more my condition rather than the hotel's.

Nice location with very nice views of Sta.Maria and adjacent mountains, historical building with a lot of charm and history, comfortable room, friendly and helpful owner / staff, good restaurant & breakfast, lockable garage for bikes

Amazing view, nice breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Lovely, clean room. Comfortable bed.
