A nice big room and lovely old 'grand hotel' elements, close to Yverdon City but far away enough to not have city noise. Location in a park setting with lots of old trees is also very nice.

It is a bit old and could do with renovating. The room still smelled a bit like cigarette (from the old carpets we assume). We found the bathrooms quite small and simple, a shower curtain is just not something you expect anymore in a 4-star hotel. Also the renovations in the spa area are really quite disturbing, the noise, the smell, the view of cranes and concrete construction are not very relaxing, despite this we still had to pay a fee (as hotel guests!) to get access to the baths. I thought considering the works, access should at least be free for hotel guests.

The hotel continues to maintain its high standards over the years, with nice premises, outside parking lot, a pleasant staff and a lovely breakfast buffet. I requested but was unable to reserve one of the newly refurbished rooms at the advertised price, which was a pity.

My wife and I are long time guests at Grand Hotel since many years ago. In the past we could enjoy access to both the Centre Thermal and the hotel’s private swimming pool. However, recently this pool is no longer available to hotel guests and is instead exclusively dedicated to swimming lessons for children and therapeutic uses. This represents a significant downgrade in the client experience and one of the main attractions driving our visits. Relaxing poolside in a private pool is not the same as bathing with a hundred people including children.

We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel. We were there to meet up with our daughter who was bringing her small dog along. We had wonderful quiet rooms on the top floor looking into the green. My test for a good hotel is how well I sleep there. We slept really well. The breakfast was great with lots of healthy options. We loved the fact that there was such easy Spa access and that we could rent bikes. The staff was really helpful.

I would love to see more balanced healthy vegan options on the lunch and evening menu. Apart from that we really had a wonderful time there.

I come here frequently. I love the spa (and am looking forward to the opening of the newly renovated areas). The rooms are very spacious and well appointed and the fans for hot summer weather are excellent. The reception, breakfast and housekeeping teams are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is great - huge choice and a lovely setting.

Used the restaurant for an evening meal for the first time. Food was fine but sadly, our waitress wasn't up to the same standards as the rest of the team - repeatedly trying to clear and ask about dessert and coffee while my elderly father was still eating. She seemed more keen to end her shift than to provide a relaxing environment which somewhat ruined our final meal together in Switzerland.

Got a special deal through booking.com during their renovations of the spa. Had a very good time. Two pools fully open and were wonderfully quiet (in summer can be full of screaming kids). Temporary sauna really nice. Breakfast excellent- the local butters, jams, cheeses and charcuterie were outstanding.

Rooms on road side have some noise even with windows closed - didn't bother me mid season but could be noisy in summer with them open. No water available in the gym room or by the sauna

The room was nice, we liked the complementary coffee, the beds were very comfortable. We just loved the à la carte Restaurant, absolutely fabulous, and so was the breakfast. Great location for day trips, e.g. walking in the Jura.

Someone had obviously been smoking in the loggia outside the room, as there was a distinct smell of cold smoke. We weren't too happy about that, we think all traces should be removed before the next guests come.

The room was big enough with a small desk and 2 chairs to sit. The location was close to the city and also the technology park. Many parking spots were available even a charging station which can connect 2 cars. The bed was comfy same for the pillows.

It's an old building and the windows are showing their age, meaning we can hear every single noise coming from outside. The decoration of the room is outdated, the carpet was stained at various location which can be a turn off for many people.

Conveniently situated just off the motorway. Historic building surrounded by lovely mature trees. Excellent outdoor thermal pools and relaxation space which is currently being extended and will look amazing! Spacious room with small enclosed balcony. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

No aircon although an electric fan was already available in the room.

Arrived with my daughter & her husband 2 rooms on ground floor direct from room to access outdoor terrace with small table & two chairs Hôtel has an indoor corridor directly to the thermal baths & spas. Hotel guest have own Private thermal mineral outdoor pool. Non public. Option of Breakfast included in room price was a plus. Breakfast dining room has magnificent triangular views of the gardens. Unlimited food choices to choose from too long a list to describe the abundance of buffet breakfast spreads. Staff reception and room service personnel are very helpful & willing to help with all your questions .

Conveniently located within walking distance into town. Spa is being rebuild currently, so guests can enjoy the thermal baths for free (for the time being ?). Breakfast was very good, we especially enjoyed the local products very much.

The room has "aged" a bit. There was nothing wrong with it, the best years are behind it, though...
