Fantastic location within the Yushan National Park. Very professional, helpful and thoughtful management from all staff members and employees connected to the hotel. I am very grateful for everything they did to contribute to my magical stay in the Alishan Township area. Gau Shan Ching also provided the base location for my flawless hike up Yushan in perfect weather and return for rest and relaxation before eventual departure. Awesome, mei li, hen hao from someone who has been on the top of mountains all over thew world. Viva Yushan!

Location is quite near to the eateries and train station at Alishan. The room and bed is quite clean overall, and the staffs are quite friendly. Breakfast is provided while staying at this hotel.

Although the room is clean, the walkway might be a bit dirty or moldy due to the environment humidity. The place might look a bit "old" because of its tiles design, otherwise this hotel is quite decent and good to stay in.

Great location. Spacious room. Free and tasty breakfast buffet. Overall fairly clean, although it definitely shows its age. Pre-check-in luggage storage is available.

Pre-check-in luggage storage isn't very secure. The private bathroom in the family-sized room is next to the public bathroom and there's very little sound isolation. Room can be a bit cold as there was no obvious way to change heating temperature.

Great location in the alishan village close to the visitor centre, restaurants, forest railway and park entrance with the trailheads a short walk away. Room was small and basic but fine, clean with fresh pillows and towels and screened window for fresh air.

It’s not amazing for the price and no free toiletries. No hot water until 6.30 at night and hip bath with shower head, no shower screen.

The weather was 6°c at night, but it was comfortable to stay. The basin was clogged, and we called the staff & they settled it immediately. Have prepared slippers for each of the people staying there & a water dispenser nearby the room. The breakfast had a variety of local Taiwanese dishes & served with hot.

The toilet is not really clean & old. The lighting is quite dark & yellow.

The room was better that what we expected (after seeing the comments): it is clean even if it's small. You can store/drop your luggage while you don't have the room yet.

Too expensive for this, but still the cheapest in Alishan. The room is very small (that was not a problem for us, but you need to have this is mind). The hotel is poorly soundproofed (take earplugs)

Location of hotel is inside Alishan NP. Train station is within walking distance. It provides sunrise tour (not train tour) in small group. Staff were friendly to answer questions.

Room is dark and kind of cold. Needs some updating in bathroom and light switches. Can hear noises from corridor.

The hotel's affordability made it a suitable choice, especially considering the expensive accommodations in Alishan. The comfortable bed ensured a restful stay, and the offer of a morning alarm for the sunrise train was appreciated.

The staff was not so good in English, it was quite challenging with communication about trips etc.

I love Alishan so it's always my first choice for a holiday. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, and they let us know where to go for breakfast when we needed help.

The room is a little small. Our luggage had to stay in the tiny foyer where the door is. It was annoying to move it when we needed to go in and out.

Location is inside Alishan NP and close to train station. Taiwanese style breakfast had a variety of food esp for vegetarians.

Room was too dark. Hot water was only available after 4pm to 8am.
