The hostel location was convenient and easy to reach, even without a car, it took 15min walking from the rear exit of the train station. The shampoo and body wash were from a nature local brand (ChaTzuTang). There was a nice noodle breakfast restaurant and a convenient store nearby. The host was very help on booking a taxi for us. Also, we were allowed to leave our luggages temporary after checking-out and going for hiking. The hostel has a lift, which was friendly for people with heavy or large luggages. It was a bonus to be able to use the washing machine for free.

Fantastic place to stay! The staff was the best part — the front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful, and the owner’s sister even graciously showed me around the city by car and more. I have never experienced so much generous hospitality. The room is clean and bed is comfortable and soft, which I much prefer to other Taiwan hotels that had harder beds. I got a mountain view room and it was completely worth it — on a clear morning the view was spectacular! The train station West Exit is about a 15 minute easy walk. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone visiting Hualien.

Since the earthquake of April 2024 destroyed the region, there is really not much to do in Hualien.

The staff is really friendly and give us an excellent intro about Hualien. The room is clean and tidy even with a balcony. We can see the mountains right through the window in the room, which is even better.

The hostess was very kind and helpful. They offer free bikes for you to use that are in good shape, and it was so nice to ride along the beach. The room was clean and in good condition and the bed was very comfortable.

Starting at 6 am, it was very loud. Doors were constantly slamming and there was vacuuming. I would definitely like to stay again but I couldn't handle how loud it was so early.

This place is so cute. Location is great and it has a quiet feeling. Loved the common area to sit and eat or drink tea. The rooms and facilities were excellent. The staff was so friendly, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Location is a little far from the main station & had to walk along the road which was a little dangerous.

all the equipments are maintained very well, very comfortable, staffs are nice. it’s warm, we can just wear short sleeves in the room, even outside is like 13 or 14°. There’s a parking lot, if you you drive, this place is perfect for you.

Everything accepted the distance from the train station. A bit from backpacker who doesn’t have vehicles.
