Everything was spectacular! Such a thoughtful hotel with enriching experiences from the very first moment. You step inside and choose a scent. You choose a picture for your room door. People working there are attentive and hospitable. Definitely recommend having a dinner. Even though menu is vocally explained in Chinese, we’ve been given a little guide for our meals. Food was fantastic. What made it extra special is history of Jinguashi and meals interlinked with it. Location is great. Not too close to busy Jioufen, but close to various hikes. We couldn’t hike much this time due to stormy weather, but still! 太感谢了

The staff are friendly and helpful even though some of the staff don’t speak English very well but they do their best to help.

If you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage, plan accordingly as the stairs to the accommodation are quite steep and the accommodation does not have an elevator. Entry and exit is only by taxi if you do not have your own car or have rented one. So finish up your shopping before you head back to your hotel.

Love the environment is this place. Tranquil and relaxing. We upgraded to a room with good Mountain view. 9 grid breakfast was healthy and good. Dinner was lovely too. I really like the staff - friendly, warmth and helpful. Keep up the good job.

Accessibility to food is not easy. Nearest place with more eateries is about 1.2km away with uphill climb during return walk. Driving is recommended

Everything about this place is fantastic. The staffs are very kind. They are not too many but they are so heart-fully care to every single detail. The compound is very nice abs accom is clean, spacious, not to mention about the view. All facilities are great. The food is so so great.

The peaceful and beautiful environment amidst mountains and the sea. The food (both dinner and breakfast) that was like quality home cooked food. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The very efficient and friendly staff.

There were many steps/stairs both around and inside the property and rooms. This maybe abit challenging for those with mobility issues.

The environment (amidst mountain and rivers), the awesome view, the room layout, the Japanese toilet technology, the wholesome and local food and excellent service by the friendly and helpful staff.

Unnecessary levels/steps for example in the rooms and at certain public areas. These are challenges for people with mobility and visual issues.

The inn is beautiful. Tucked away in the hills in GinGuaShi near Jiufen. Both the Taiwanese dinner and breakfast were delicious. The was very accommodating and tried their best with those of us who did not speak Mandarin. The inn is easily accessible by Uber or taxi.

Exceeded expectations. Everything about our stay was so wonderful, including the food, staff, and accommodations. Felt like we were in a cloud forest in the mountains, so peaceful and lush.

Great peaceful and clean hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and appreciated the free breakfast and tea!

A little too far and hilly to walk to Jiufen so recommend car or uber.

We had an amazing stay at Adagio, especially thanks to our wonderful host Alex who made us feel very welcome. It was the warmest and most relaxing welcome we received in any hotel during our trip through Taiwan. The scenery and nature around the hotel is really beautiful and we can only recommend coming there. If we come back to Taiwan we will definitely stay here again.
