Staff are courteous and helpful. Room is clean although I could hear some sound from other rooms. This is within walking distance to the Feng Chia night market. It is not near to the train station and we used uber or taxi when going out. Overall, we had a good stay.

I was pleasantly surprised at the value of this hotel as it was really clean with a modern design. At first I was a little apprehensive as Google had many recent negative reviews but they turned out to be unfounded. I didn’t find issues with cleanliness, everything was neat and in order. The location was really near to Fengjia night market with many interesting food stores on the way. Parking was underground and plentiful, just be careful on the ramp as it’s one-way. Staff was courteous and helpful. Good choice.

There were few tables to place stuff in the room and there could have been more hangers for a quadruple room but other than that, all was fine.

The location and environment is very good and over my expectation. Especially that upgrade my room due to stay 3 night at this hotel. The place also very convenience for 7-eleven, family mart, gorceries shop and night market. I will recommended to my family and friend. I will booking again when I travel Taichung, Taiwan.

A bit difficult to plug and charging the device. The way for inform housekeeping is not convenience because we will forgot to inform. Maybe can set other way for housekeeping.

Staff were friendly and nice. They offered us a room option which was not on booking.com Perfectly for our family. Love the toilet too. Will be back to Explore Hotel again!

The TV volume has been fixed. Too soft and we were unable to adjust it. Only can go lower and unable to increase. Do look into it and adjust to suitable volume or at least set a timer after 12 midnight volume remain at 30. Unable to enjoy our movies in the room and also the shows on TV.

The location is great if you are going to fenjia night market. The bed is comfortable and it is very clean.

It is not near to any public transport especially mrt, partly because mrt in Taichung is less advanced as compare to taipei and koahsiung. Also, the hotel can be more flexible on check-in time if the room is ready. Just imagine how good it can be if the guest get to go the room to clean up before heading out.

The location is near the Fengjia night market which is great. The beds are large and comfortable. The hotel and room seems near and rooms are very clean. We have a party of five, having 2 rooms - a double and a quadruple. The quadruple has sink outside the toilet which is useful when some can wash outside while others do their business. The toilet has japanese style bidet which is a great plus. Carparking is available in front of hotel and underground, with adequately sized lots. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel looked very new with a great design. The receptionists were all smartly dressed and were willing to help even with the language barrier. The rooms were spacious and clean. It uses Japanese toilets, which are great. It's located near bubble tea stores, a night market and many shops.

The room has a lot of mains sockets, which is a good thing, but the negative thing would be the design of the cushioned wall next to the mains socket. It takes up some of the space where the plug fits into the mains socket, so travellers who use a plug adapter may struggle to use these mains sockets. See image to understand this explanation.

Everything was awesome. Staffs were friendly, helpful and efficient. They have their own parking space which is so convenient for us. Room and toilet was clean and tidy and smelled fresh. Air con was good and easy to adjust. The noise from outside and other room was acceptable. They don’t have mini bar in the room but you can get some tea bags, 3 in 1 coffee, water, lollies in the lobby. There has a water dispenser in the 2nd floor. It’s very convenient to get food there. Walking 2 mins basically can get everything you need.

Basically everything was good! it’s normal that shower room has tiny bit mould in silicone. But I just noticed the shower head was dirty. It will be good if they get it cleaned and sanitised. :)

We had a short one-night stay in this hotel over the weekend to explore some nice restaurants and coffee spots in Taichung. It’s within walking distance of Fengjia night market and conveniently has a parking space in its basement. The room is comfortable enough and quite clean.

The sound insulation isn't that great, and I feel like the lighting is a bit dim, especially around the washbasin or in front of the mirror. I’d say it’s not a bad experience overall, though it's too bad they don’t offer breakfast with that price.

It’s very good place to stay.

During check out or when check in , the staff didn’t tell us that parking can use until afternoon. We drive out after check out. And drive to the front parking lot which is extra charge. We went to reception to check and ask you guys didn’t tell us how do we know. She reply, because you never ask us. Wow, surprise me for this kind of answer the clients. All are good except the staff attitude needs to improve.
