Very good location, close to multiple bus stops to wander around the city. The facilities and ambiance were really cosy and welcoming. Between the night market literally downstairs of the hostel and the Bistro 2F, you don't even need to walk that far if you want a day off and chill (going through all the pictures).

some of the rooms didn't had windows and the AC smelled a bit weird. The area around the sinks could've been a bit cleaner (some dust seemed to be there for quite some time).

The location is awesome. If you're coming from the HSR Taichung, the 159 bus drops you a few steps from the hostel. The hostel is close to a delicious night market. It's more like a hotel rather than a social hostel. People keep to themselves and are respectful of quiet hours and public spaces.

I recently stayed at Getcha Hostel in Taichung and had an amazing experience. The hostel is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the local attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, providing a great place to rest after a day of sightseeing.

The bunk beds in the 4-ppl room are firm. Basically, you won't feel shaky or hear a sound even if the person sleeping below is doing whatever. The facilities are nice and functioning. The bathroom has a dry and wet separated design which is good. The lobby area is nice.

The bed is not too clean and the communal space of the shared bathroom is a little dirty but probably it's because we're using it at late night.

It's really a good bargain for its price. However, the room was very tiny compared to what's shown in the pic, and the ventilation isn't that good and that night there happened to be someone else with smelly feet and the room didn't smell that pleasant.

Japanese style toilets, great location in city centre, nice looking and comfortable.

Wifi didnt work properly in the dorm which is annoying. You have to put your own cover on the beds. The beds are dirty but its fine with the covers. The problem is the pillow cover, its just a sheet so after a nights sleep it falls down and your head is exposed to the dirty pillow.

Located close to a night market but also close enough to walk to the main train station. Room, bathroom and showers were all very clean

I had a great stay at Getcha Hostel. Kind and friendly staff, clean and quiet room, bathroom. A big lobby and lounge upstairs. It was easy to get anywhere taking buses.

The room was a bit small, narrow and no window at all.

Great location, walking distance to night market. Decor of space was nice and heaps of space to get work done or just to chill.

The toilet had a foul smell. Weird layout too. It felt clean and had a smell, odd.

Their were a lot of places to put personal items, no matter in my rooms or the public shower rooms. That was really convenient. The common area was nice, clean, many seats there and providing alcohol.

The room was somehow small. When a traveler's suitcase lied on the way, we could only half open the door.
