The hotel is in a great location by which to explore Tainan. It is also located on a street with amazing food stalls nearby, but if you want to go to the big food streets - Guohua and Yongle market - they are a 5 and 10 minute walk respectively. Also you can easily walk to all the main sites except for anything in Anping (it's about a 50 minute walks which I did, not that exciting of a walk). Anping is a 15 minute bus ride and on weekends, the Tainan Tourist Bus stops very close to the hotel (3 minute walk away) which will go to Anping, Sicao Green Tunnel and the Qigu Salt Mountain (the Salt Mt wasn't all that). The hotel itself is super clean, and I had no trouble about noise. I see that a lot of comments mention that it is noisy. I asked for a quiet room, so they gave me one in the back which didn't face the street and it was very quiet. It's not like the street is a party street, just a lot of people eating at the food stalls. The only sounds I heard from other guests were cheers when Taiwan won some of the Baseball World Championship games. So the walls are a bit thin, but the people staying there were pretty quiet (the baseball wins is understandable and the games ended by 10 pm!). Also, one of the comments said that the front desk service is not 24 hours. That wasn't true when I stayed - it was 100% 24 hours; I checked out a little before 7 AM. (this was march 2023). Bed was also comfortable (It is a firm bed which I like - most beds in Asia are firm). Also, LOVED the shampoo and shower gel which were the Taiwan-made brand Cha Tzu Tang. I am looking to buy a bottle before I head home. They also provide a slow pour style coffee in the room which is ingenious and very good and every day a packet of cookies. I would 100% stay here again - great value for the money (I paid about 2500 NTD/night - Thursday through Monday)

nice breakfast, not amazing, but pretty adequate, choice of four options, from asian influenced to american influenced and in between. very helpful and friendly staff. i know there have been comments that compared the room to a prison cell and i get it. depending on your taste, it can be a bit like that. but for me it was awesome. i liked the feel and look of it, the room is spacious, excellent value for money. little details like international power points and a safe (which i didn't use, but hey, it's there if you need it), super hot and abundant water in the shower and a japanese toilet. plus the hotel is nice and central to many things, within walking distance to many places and close to the bus stop for those that are too far away. and did i mention it's spacious? overall an excellent stay.

The hotel is so lovely! The room was spacious, the bed big and comfy. AC worked great. The bathroom was clean and had everything you might need. Included breakfast was tasty and they give you 4 options to choose from as you're ordering a day before. The staff speaks English very well and are very friendly. The place is close to a street full of shops, unending temples, so many tasty restaurants, walking distance away from museums and a UBike station.

It was a bit harder to get to - can't walk from the station and the busses didn't stop too near.

It’s a fantastic industrial retro vibe. Do book with breakfast included. They are the best “included breakfasts” I’ve had at a hotel in Taiwan. The staff are polite and also themselves.

The bed was a little firm. I sleep on a futon at home and my body took a day to adjust to the weirdly firmer spring mattress. It is also a somewhat soundproof room. And whilst I did sleep well overall. If your alarm goes off. The room next door will hear it. But I didn’t hear talking or anything.

Great hotel and perfect for a short stay in Tainan. Room was big and spacious, staff was nice and helpful. Lots of nice places to eat and drink within walking distance, it was the perfect base to go out and explore the city. Highly recommend.

Power light from the aircon was quite bright and the blinds didn't black out all light. Not a big issue for us but it was noticeable and might be worth knowing for other travelers.

The comfort room was great, really high ceilings and spacious, great lighting options, all very modern and clean. The included breakfast was fantastic, large portions and delicious.

The only thing that could have made our room even better would be some darker blinds or curtains. The ceiling fan was decorative rather than operational in our room, but this wasn't an issue as the aircon was good.

Industrial looking rooms are clean, cosy, and surprisingly spacious, with high ceilings that make them feel even more comfortable. They have everything you’d expect, and the location is very good, you can easily walk everywhere.

The only drawback is that the breakfast options could be better, but it’s manageable and something you’re aware of from the start.

The hotel is just a street or two away from rows of food and amenities. It's walking distance from Shennong street and the Hai'an Road Art Street. Hotel is super clean, decor is minimal, retro and en point, and breakfast is simple but tasty and fulfilling. Above all, the staff are really helpful when you ask about places to go and bookings for dinner. Definitely will be staying here again next Tainan trip and won't be considering another location! The tatami room was absolute bliss and my parents had the rooms with standard beds and found them really comfortable.

Nothing at all! If I really had to pick something, the entrance had a step that could be better marked. There's portable wedge that keeps moving around- they could have pinned it down so there's lesser chance of tripping on it. I've seen a couple of people trip on that little step.

Staff super friendly, umbrellas to rent, pre-order breakfast the night before (portions were quite generous, and there’s 4 sets to choose from), rooms were very spacious with blackout blinds, adjustable AC and big comfy bed.

It has a street storefront right next to the road, no private hotel driveway, which isn’t necessarily bad, just a note that our taxi driver missed it the first time round as he was looking for a driveway. One thing I didn’t like was how the light is positioned right above the big waterfall shower head which naturally blocked the light and made the bathroom really shadowy and dim.

Location was great, close to amenities, and a short hop from Anping District where we went to see the old Dutch Trading post. The room was fantastic, spacious, clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

If there was anything that could have been better, for me the breakfast could have been slightly larger, but I am really nit picking. It was fine really.
