This hotel has the best bed in this trip -- very comfortable and four pillows are provided. Room is spacious and well laid out. Location is a short walk from bus stops on routes from the train station. Because it is located between Anping District and the Tainan Train Station, the parks, shops/markets, museum, and interesting alleys are within 20-minute walks.

A more thorough cleaning of the room would be great. Noise from the hallway can be heard because the door is not sealed properly. But if there are no other guests on the same floor, it would always be a guaranteed peaceful sleep.

The location was great-within walking distance of the historic part of Tainan with many temples and interesting streets nearby. The beer theme was lost on us as we don't drink beer at all, but we found it amusing. The room was comfortable and had the best insulated cups for in-room coffee--they were so great we bought 2 and used them on the rest of our 4 month journey around SE Asia. The staff were pretty non-existent, but it really wasn't an issue for us.

Check-in was a bit confusing as there was no reception, but after waiting a short while, someone came and showed us how to check-in on the computer terminal in the lobby.

Surprisingly quiet, despite being next to a construction site and police station. Superb location, very easy to walk around and lovely streets nearby to explore. So many great places to eat nearby. Appreciated the bottled water stopped each day. We were very early for the check in and they provided a locker for our bags and there was a bar to relax at downstairs.

Hot water in the shower was a little inconsistent - sometimes took a while for it to heat up.

I liked pretty much everything about the good sized room, and particularly liked the hotel bar, with a shout out to the staff, despite language barriers they went out of their way to provide sample beers to try ensuring I got what I liked. Bars are not common in Taiwan, and to find a well stocked bar with a variety of beers was great ( I did have a recommendation to stay here from a friend for this very reason).

I would have liked a breakfast option, but was well aware that this was not offered. And a minor point, I would have done some work on my laptop, but although there was an ample size workspace, a shelf underneath meant I couldn't get comfortable and abandoned the idea. Wifi, although I could connect readily enough was too slow to use, luckily 5G coverage was excellent so I tethered without incident.

Helpful staff and nice location. There is a bar on the ground floor but it feels classy and not noisy at all. We upgraded our room which was spacious and beautiful.

There is no parking but we managed to find parking on the street which was cheaper than the parking lot suggested by staff (because ticket was not issued every hour). We booked the cheapest room originally which felt a bit weird (one narrow window and a huge disable friendly bathroom). We ended up paying extra to upgrade our room which was so much better. There is no room service provided unless requested.

we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, which is modern and clean. The staff are very helpful, even if they don't speak English. The hotel bar is very pleasant. Spacious, bright room. Quiet neighborhood close to night markets and points of interest. We took a cab from the station (6-7min), as it's a bit complicated by bus otherwise.

We booked a room with a terrace but could not use it as there was no chair and table. And also allowed to smoke.

Room was quite good, comfy bed clean and spacious. Staff without any doubt was great, I just crashed to sleep, no noise super calm in the middle of downtown and what’s best police station was just at the side so it gives you a lot of peace

I guess the “worst” would be WiFi was not the best but this is just trying to find an issue….

Great location, quirky beer theme. The place was clean and very comfortable. I liked the amenities and how well kept the hotel is.

The Taiwanese in general would benefit from talking English just a little bit better. The staff are almost not able to speak the most basic English, which in my view is not what you would want as a hotel owner.

Short walk to the bus stop which was convenient, I like the use of reusable plastics (ie bottles of shampoo/shower gel etc as opposed to one time use), room was not the biggest but it was clean and sufficient for our use. Convenience store was also a short walk away and the area outside was also safe even when it was late at night.

we arrived at 250pm and we still had to wait till exactly 3pm on the dot to check in. Not sure if it's a system issue but thought it might be better if the hotel was more flexible.

All the staffs including Angela were very hospitable and kind. There was also free beer per pax per room, so that was nice. Room are a good size, location has lots of yummy food nearby! Amenities are very nice (soap, toothbrush, etc.), bed and duvet is very comfy. Next to police station so feels very safe :)

Not so good views but you pay for what you get really.
