Firstly the hotel is 4 story with a huge appartment block on top so that Booking.com photo is a bit misleading - it's grand but not that grand! Location is great, by the river in Anping, on a bus route (#2) into the main city. At one stage this would have been high end 5 star - and its now quite faded from that - but still really nice. Free parking under the hotel was a breeze. Breakfast pretty extensive, very Eastern, little Western food (suited us). Rooms big, bathroom big. Laundry room. staff helpful and friendly. It was good value.

It’s a great value for a short stay. Very close to anping. It’s kind of noisy with machine running humming whole night. The pillow is extremely uncomfortable. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend you stay here
The hotel is an aged grant hotel. The facility is out of date. Not enough outlets for computer and phone charging.

The breakfast was fantastic and the location was brilliant too
The toilet , it’s easy to get wet but the property didn’t provide rubber slipper or extra towels to prevent wet floor.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very large suite which was great traveling with a kid. Parking was free and extremely easy in a garage below the hotel. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to Anping district (less than a mile).

There are not a lot of hotels in this area with a nice view of the water and a buffet breakfast. And the staff was always helpful and kind. I also really like having a bathtub.
The carpeting in the rooms needs to be changed, if the carpets not clean, the room doesn't feel clean.
