It’s cleaner and quieter than what I thought. It’s super close to Taroko and also the Xincheng old street, where you can buy food and great lemonade. I stayed at one bed of 6-bed male backpacker room. I think the room is very suitable for those who travel alone like me. Considering the price and all I got to enjoy, I must say it’s really worth it and I’ll definitely rebook it if I ever consider coming here again.

If anything, I think there is always nobody at the property may be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. It’s really cozy when nobody is around and you can enjoy food alone in the lobby, but you have to call to find the boss. Overall I would say it’s still good.

We only stayed one night (arrived late and leave early) so we can’t say anything about the area -good if you want to visit Taroko Nationalpark - from the outside it looks kinda shady and you wouldn’t expect a hostel there, but on the inside it was very clean and done with a lot of love - comfortable bed and really nice bathroom -breakfast was toast with chocolate cream, peanut butter and jam; coffee and Tea

Very close to the bus stop to Taroko in front of the train station. I walked to the bus stop and took the bus no 310 at 7:05, which was the 1st bus to Taroko. I had enough time to see all the beatiful and awsome places in Taroko by just getting on and off the busese no 302 and 310. I used easy card and it cost far less than one day pass which was 250 TWD. The host was very kind and used translation app to explain about the trip to Taroko. He let me know that I must take only one of the two buses if I purchase one day pass. That is why I just used easy card. I also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of Susi Space and the town.

Great location! The accommodation is near to Taroko National Park and Ch’ing-shui Cliff. It is convenient for those who is planning for sunrise kayak tour at Ch’ing-shui Cliff. The owner prepared a handrawn map and explained regarding places of interest nearby. Facilities are complete. There is also a common corner for us to chat, chillax and make breakfast. They accept cash and credit card payments, which is convenient for foreign travellers.

This is a great place to stop off before tackling the Suhua highway portion of the Huan Dao from the south, since it's so close to the first tunnel. Has everything I needed: Washers, drying spaces, places to store my bike, water, well-organized space. It's not as glitzy as a big city hostel, but owners are friendly and it's well-run.

1. There is a part between the lobby and room area without a roof, which can be annoying on rainy days 2. I felt the bed too hot for me, so I removed the mattress, but after that it was okay. I still had a good sleep.

It took me about 9 minute without luggage and 12 mins with luggage to walk from the train station. The B&B also offered free bicycle rental so I was able to go sightseeing to the beach/town for free. The host, Susi was also very helpful, kind and offered a lot of local info. Free fruits and coffee were offered everyday. There's a big washing machine with detergent (TWD10) to use. Beautiful, quite town of Xincheng with easy access to Taroko National Park.

My room did not have a window.

Location is great, they have a kitchen, fridge, laundry machine etc. for public use. No complaints whatsoever about the room, it had a great shower, bed was comfy. Overall great prize for received service.

Sadly however, the public use bikes were in poor condition.

Comfy and nice location. Lots of delicious food places around. Easy access to Toroko.

Make sure you check the bus schedule for Toroko at the bus stop near you. Google maps was not accurate

Staff is nice. Free toast and coffee (good one) for breakfast. There is washing machine, full kitchen, oven. Very convenient. Very easy to park.

Shower room is too small. Water pressure is not very well. My friend and I have 3 beds, 2 of the pillows are crappy but 1 pillow is good.
