Breakfast was limited in what was offered but what was offered was good and tasty. I appreciated their customer service, top notch. The facilities on campus were more geared toward families. The property is very extensive, including a moderate sized garden with man-made waterfall. I would expect this property to be more busy during warmer months.

The beds were on the firm side. I would say they are more like asian style beds firmness. I am not sure if foreigners would appreciate the bed comfort level. I would recommend telling the property you prefer a softer bed when you book. Also the downstairs main lobby bathroom needs updating. I had a better bathroom experience at the airport lounge than this.

We stayed in a family suite. It was spacious with one living room and one bedroom. This is very convenient for families because parents can use the living room when kids are sleeping. We had lunch and breakfast there. The food was excellent and the cafeteria has a nice view. There were a lot of options for the breakfast buffet. The hotel is not in the center of Hualien, but it's a short taxi ride. The hotel has a few activities such as golf and wall climbing. We didn't have time to try them, but they seem attractive for families with kids if they have enough time.

A lot of amenities, so you definitely wont be bored. I also like that there's a self-service laundry station available all day. The room itself is quite spacious and overall a nice view overlooking the city/ocean.

It's a little far from a convenience store. Takes around 10 mins walk to the nearest 7-11. Would be nice if they had a vending machine of snacks, instant noodles, drinks at the lobby.

Clean hotel, efficient check-in, free parking, and decent breakfast. Provided a steriliser and cot for our baby also. Pretty convenient location to explore Taroko - about a 35min drive to bottom of Gorge.

Was mandatory to wear a swimming cap in the heated pool, even if only in the shallow baby pool. Staff gave a little attitude when we asked where this was stated in the pool/swimming requirements!

The breakfast is quite good but sometimes too crowded with a lot of tourists crammed in a very short period. Suggestions: to assign different periods to control the guest flow in a smooth way.

The hotel relies very much in their TV Hotel Guide so that there is little or no hotel guide pamphlet or printed information in the guest room. It might cause a big trouble for people not familiar with operating the digital mode.

Hotel slightly dated eventhough my room is renovated. No king bed at all and bed comfort level could be better. Hotel is some distance from Hualien town centre, not within walking distance.

Very helpful staff. Good shuttle service back and forth from Hualien station. Good Taroko full day tour which we did in a minivan with our young children without any problem. Excellent pool facilities. Excellent breakfast with plenty of western/Chinese style choices. Good bedding/baby bathtub provided upon booking /request.

Play arcade area slide not usable under age 6 . Hotel restaurant is so-so and expensive.

Big hotel with lots of facilities, nice rooms with great views of both the harbour and mountains. Nice pool and a lovely garden with a small waterfall. Breakfast was very good as well.

Slight language barriers when you do not speak manderin, but not a big issue. Bed was a bit too hard for our preference.

Facilities, space, staff helpful. Kids area and pool are excellent in Taiwan.

The restaurant, cold and not good quality buffet but still expensive. No wonder it was only 1/4 capacity. 5/10 for the restaurant. A let down for the hotel of this standard.

Very nice, spacious and comfortable room. Beautiful garden with a nice big pool. Even a nice place to put my bike was offered.

Keep in mind that breakfast area can be crowded in the morning.
