The friendliness of all staff was extraordinary. Robert's restaurant crew was fantastic. We have been served breakfast and dinner (half board is mandatory) and there was always enough food and a variety of drinks, as well for optional lunch at the beach or pool. The food was excellent. Our room was spacious and very cosy. Avoid the rooms in the ground floors. There were always enough sunbeds and sunshade. We enjoyed as well the spa treatments. The mood was absolutely relaxing in this hotel. Quiet and peaceful, day by day. It was on e of the best holiday hotel we have ever been.

The light in the bathroom is not sufficient and the toilet is not separate in the bathroom. Although delicious, sometimes part of the menue food was the same as a few days before. There are really no restaurants nor shops in walking distance, to Paje you must take a taxi. (Or walk at the beach). So if you aim for activity or shopping, this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel was remarkably beautiful. Simplicity at its finest. Well secured and a prime beachfront hotel. We had the sea view room and the view was spectacular- both at night and in the daytime. We spent our last two days in the hotel as we wanted to appreciate it for its entirety. The staff at Amani were phenomenal. Lucas at the front of house was incredibly accommodating upon our arrival and made sure to go through every intricate detail with us and ensure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Robert at the restaurant made sure we were well informed on the menu each evening and at breakfast (and well complimented!). Chef David ensured we were more than happy with our meals each evening and took time out to ensure we were satisfied. All in all the staff at Amani boutique hotel deserve all the accolades. Their kindness made our stay one to remember. Thank you!

Everything about the Hotel was Great. It is very well Managed and the Staff are absolutely perfect. Our room 8 was exactly as we expected and we loved it. We needed this holiday as we are recovering from a house fire at home in Spain that completely burnt out our house. So this was the perfect opportunity for us to relax by the sea. Food was very good both at dinner and breakfast. There is a small Spa and the massage therapist excellent.

Unfortunatelly there are building works on the ajacent site that rather spoilt the last couple of days. Initially it was just hammering and much of the sound was lost in the wind. However, once the rock breaking equipment started the noise was a distraction. This site is in the early stages of construction and will unfortunately continue to give rise to building noise. That said there is not much the Hotel can do other than pre warn future guests that there are construction works in progress.

I spent the New Year holidays with my partner on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. We chose the Amani Boutique Hotel for our stay, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The hotel is a small and cozy property overlooking the stunning white beach of Paje. It is impeccably maintained, well-appointed, and offers every comfort you could wish for. With only 14 rooms, the Amani is an adults-only boutique hotel, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. From the beginning to the end of our stay, we were pampered by the staff. The team is made up of wonderful, kind, and attentive people who made us feel at home. The cuisine was outstanding, with dishes varying daily based on the availability of fresh ingredients. Loved everything about this place! The staff were so welcoming and really make you feel like special guests! Elizabeth at checkin and all the kitchen staff were wonderful and so kind - they really made us feel so welcome and at home. We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. Elizabeth helped me arrange a reservation at The Rock restaurant, transport, flower decorations and also arranged a surprise cake with singing at our evening meal. This made the day so memorable and we had so fun. The rooms looks just like the photos. Our room was spacious and clean. The housekeeping visited twice a day. In the mornings they would clean the room and make the beds. In the evening they would untuck the covers and get the bed ready for sleeping in - these little touches were very much appreciated. We enjoyed the swahili night on one of ours stays. The food otherwise was excellent. The breakfast was very good especially the pancakes made to order! We had booked a half-board stay (breakfast and dinner) and therefore ordered lunch on the room tab. The lunch menu can be a little limited but was priced okay and was tasty. During our stay we enjoyed a full body massage. The spa is basic - just one room in an area by the swimming pool. Although the setting didn't feel like a typical spa, the massage was very relaxing. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked on the day of our check out and therefore late check out was not available. Despite this, the staff at the hotel made great efforts to maintain their excellent hospitality by ensuring we were comfortable until the evening (when we had to depart for the airport). We were offered fruits and drinks after we checked out. All the staff members were aware of our departure and were very kind up until our departure. We managed to enjoy the Christmas Eve Party just before our departure! Paje is a 25 minute walk away. Kayaking and paddle boarding also available with the hotel

Lovely small boutique hotel directly on the beach . Tranquil and beautiful setting. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful . The restaurant was run very efficiently by Robert and I must acknowledge how good Josephine and Alex were . Our hotel room was lovely and decor of the whole hotel was calming . Only 14 rooms and adults only makes this the perfect hotel to It was a relax and enjoy Zanzibar .

I would recommend this lovely little place to my family and all of my friends. Amani has 14 rooms at the most beautiful beach of Zanzibar. The rooms are very clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is delicious. We also couldn’t get enough of the massages. Don’t miss out! There is also more than enough to do in the area. We went scuba diving and kite surfing. Both just a short walk away from the hotel. A place like heaven and paradise to the square!

All was perfect

My husband and I had an amazing time at Amani, the staff was phenomenal, and went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing one. Elizabeth, Robert, Ally, Pendo, Alfred and Lucas welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. Everything about the resort was exceptional. The food, the location, the rooms, amenities, cleaning staff and entertainment was all great. We loved that the cleaning staff cleaned twice a day, they came every night to prepare us for bed— placing our slippers by our beds, untucking our comforter etc (we love small details). And every morning to change our sheets and towels. We also really loved the location because it was walking distance to the market. Close to a few local parties if you’re interested and extremely safe to be out even at night. This was our first time visiting Zanzibar and we most definitely will be back and stay at Amani no questions asked.
