Great Hotel with nice little Bungalows, very clean, comfortable bed with and modern bathroom. It’s directly at the beach , which is amazing.The garden and plants are very groomed and the pool is great for relaxing. The beach bar offers nice drinks and good food also at the upstairs sitting area at which you have an incredible sea view.Breakfast is very delicious. The new owner are very nice and helpful and the staff is so nice and friendly.It’s only 10 min. walking distance from the Paje city center.We felt very comfortable and safe.I can highly recommend the hotel.

Everything was great - the rooms, the location, the atmosphere. Lots of staff to ensure everything is running smoothly and there's always someone available if you need anything. Everyone was professional, attentive, friendly but not intrusive at all. Perfect place for a beach holiday for a reasonable price, couldn't have asked for more.

There was nothing I didn't like.

neat surroundings of the hotel, clean rooms, swimming pool, by the sea, deckchairs by the pool and the beach, delicious and tasty breakfast.

the staff in the restaurant did not have change to return when buying drinks, food, and they simply did not return the money for every purchase if you did not have it exactly (a couple of purchases over USD 50...)

The location and the staff. We felt very welcome there. The character of the hotel is amazing. You can feel that you're in Africa not in a European hotel. The feel is great and the afrobeats played from the bar give that extra special feeling. We would definitely come back there.

Breakfast could have a continental option ( yoghurt, cornflakes etc)

Breakfast was OK. Location is good as you can walk to most of the beach bars and other places. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away. They have a massage on the beach, which was nice. We stayed in the room with air-conditioning. Cleanliness was good, they spray for mosquitoes everyday.

They charge everything to the room so during checkout there was some mixup with the bills. I would suggest paying whatever you order straight away, and you should be fine.

We stayed in Maisha Matamu, and I would be happy to return there. It definitely was a good choice. We loved hospitality and kindness, and all staff were very young and energetic. They are very polite and helpful. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. We travelled with 5y old kids, and it means a lot when security gards are watching, as he was constantly in and out of water and rooming around, for me means a lot that they kept they eyes on him. *Beach lounge- is very nice, relaxing and clean. It's designed with love and had good vibes. We loved the terrace-restaurant upstairs- it has wonderful views, and it's also well designed, loved plain wood, and natural materials. *Kitchen staff- (Hassan) and chefs were excellent. They were very supportive, and they prepared food very, very well. They had consistency, and the food was fresh and delicious. The prices are really decent. *Housekeeping- all were great, I really appreciate the lady who was cleaning our room (101) with short hair and boy who was also in the morning shift, they were fast and always singing:-) *Bar and other staff- very friendly, Mr. G or GE, nlt sure of spelling, young girls Melisa and Felista, also PM shift all team of PM shift (Rosy and all the rest) are superheroes of Maisha Matamu. *We were happy to meet the owners, and they were extremely kind, humble, and sweet people. My husband was celebrating his Bday and they all joined and supported the celebration. The owners are very helpful, and they show care and good human touch to all. Relly loved seeing them enjoying with their staff. I would recommend this facility to everyone, and we would be back as we loved the place totally ❤️

This is definitely the place I would go over and over again .The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable.Their staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled.Pricing is fair and transparent - definitely value for money. I strongly recommend 👌 👍

Stunning location, surrounded by the nicest management. Thanks a lot for making our stay special and I’m sure we’d see you again. -food was great, served by the coolest staff. Betty, rose, big G, gifty, Georgina you’ll see them everyday and it’s exceptional service -premium alcohol with happy hour (5-7) every day/ you can take them onto the beach and chill in the pool. -The feeling of just walking round the complex without shoes heading right to the beach is just so cool for the price you pay. The dogs that chill there are loving the sun too! -you can hire mopeds from the reception -they have BBQ nights and beach parties on Wednesday. Lunch is really good and you can also venture out the complex for other restaurants. -very comfy sunbeds that the boss brought from Thailand! -I loved the fact these guys just made the stay really personable and I really appreciated that.

Nothing wrong, however the premium rooms have very good air condition, so would recommend them.

I didn’t like that you can hear people walking up and down in the room I was in . It was a bit much as we had people who were constantly walking around hard from 5 am till 7 am . If I had to book here again ild probably book the single story rooms . They need to change the top room floors so people can’t hear at the bottom . Also I feel most places provide water and not even water was offered during breakfast, so if they could include giving people water as well .As we had to buy water each day . Then also clean towels each day , as well as a place that one can put their toiletries to do makeup or something , Like a desk would be nice .
