Amani Hotel Paje was like a home away from home - the staff would always go out of their way for you, the food was 100% the best food we had in the whole of Paje (all 5 in our group agreed, it was leagues above what’s on offer along the beach front), and we always felt comfortable. It is only a few minutes walk from the beach, there is a little gift stall inside the property (beside the pool) which makes it handy to buy souvenirs (there are also plenty of gift shops nearby, and a main street with bakeries, restaurants, shops and more is only up the road, max 10 min walk. If there was ever a problem, Anna and her team would always be there, it really was a brilliant stay - would definitely recommend Amani Hotel Paje!

This was a great stay that surpassed my expectations. I was going to Zanzibar to work remotely for a week and this was the perfect location for it. The wifi worked very well and I was able to take all my Zoom calls without issue. In addition, the entire staff was welcoming and accomodating, plus the owner went out of her way to help in anything I needed. The best part of the stay was the food though! The chef was amazing and I wound up eating there a lot. Breakfast was very nice and included each day but highly recommend trying the Chicken Zanzibar Curry and the Catch of the Day (usually tuna steak) for some of your meals when you stay here. It's located very close to the beach and the area felt safe, didn't have any issues. The room came with a nice bathroom, AC, a sitting area out front of the room, and a screen door which were all very nice

The room was a little sparse and the bed wasn't the most comfortable but I still slept really well and def worth the price paid. Paje in general is a bit far away from a lot of the attractions on the island so shuttles would typically charge extra (quite a bit extra in some cases) but if you're going to Paje this is def the place to stay!

Happy staff and service oriented. We felt safe and secure. The place was cleaned every day. The pool area was small but great, feels like a hidden gem in Paje. It is close to the beach, restaurants and small kiosks and souvenir shops. We recommend a lot!

Since it is a new hotel, the decorations and atmosphere is lacking a bit. Especially lack of atmosphere in the rooms. No mirror, no hangers for clothes and no bedside lamps. The Wi-Fi is not optimal.

Super lovely and an amazing hotel, quiet and very good if you seek to find rest. Rooms are spotless & cleaned daily, breakfast is plentiful and food is fresh and delicious. The exceptional service of the staff is second to none. They were very helpful & super kind. A true example of excellent hospitality. I am definitely visiting this spot again. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

Everything was great! Amazing breakfast, the staff made sure to check on allergies/intolerances and in general were really nice and friendly. The area is not too big and feels very comfortable. Within walking distance to everything in Paje.

There was no source of light in the room for the evening (only the bright, big lights); for example a reading light and a nightstand would make a nice difference.

Location was ideal being walking distance from the beach and restaurants/grocery. The staff was super pleasant and breakfast was exceptional every day. We had dinner one one of the nights and it was great also.

Firstly, the staff is amazing. From Anna who runs the place to every other employee, they are attentive and joyful. The room is big, comfortable and clean and you have all the promised facilities: AC quite silent and efficient, running hot water, etc. The property feels like a resort, you can even serve all the meals inside. The breakfast was superb and the food is made only from fresh ingredients. Property access is restricted and your valuables are safe: one night we forgot our pouch with all our money, cards and passports on the porch outside of our room in plain sight. We found them untouched in the morning. Beach is at 100m, multiple restaurants nearby in all directions. There is a small parking lot in front of the property, which is overlooked by the employees and the car is safe. Even though the area / island has problems with electricity shortages, especially during weekend evenings, they have some generators so you can still have light in the room and charge you phone maybe. Overall a very good stay, and we look forward to coming back.

The hotel is situated just 2 minutes from the beach, the room was very clean and I had a lot of privacy due to the plants which are located in front of the rooms. Also, the breakfast was great, everything was homemade, with a lot of variety. I had dinner there every night and the food was delicious and at good prices. The host, Anna, is extremely nice and friendly. In fact all the persons working there were friendly. The hotel has a generator which is useful in case of an electricity shortage.

A wonderful staff, delicious breakfast and great pool (though it turned part of my daughter’s hair green! Ha!)

We didn’t like our neighbours be cause they smoked too much and it was uncomfortable for the children, but that isn’t something the hotel could help.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Generally, the atmosphere was very relaxed, but still lively. The location was perfect for us as kite surfers and we were referred to an amazing kite station. Breakfast was very generous, and the pool was definitely a welcome bonus, especially when the tide was out in Paje. Can definitely recommend for any couple or family wishing to stay in Paje!

There were just minor things in the bathroom like a lack of air circulation, the floor staying wet because of a missing shower curtain/separation, and missing clips for a hand towel. Also, there was no mosquito net yet when we arrived. Otherwise, everything perfect!
