Breakfast was delicious to get to the location is about an hour drive and it's safe the staff very welcoming from the reception desk to the Bartender near the pool!!

It might not be the smartest place in Paje, but for £55 per night was very good value in a fantastic location. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel had a very happy atmosphere. Pool was great, with the pool bar. Food at the hotel was reasonable, and good value in comparison to other places. The room was pleasant, and clean. The air-conditioning just about worked, but it was very very hot outside. We also stayed at the Zula at double the price, which nice, but no way twice as good. If back in Paje, definitely stay at the Jambo again.

Nothing much

It is a bit away from busier places on the beach, but very few steps and you have bars and restaurants in the beach. Totally walking distance to everywhere. I enjoyed the pool since Paje has tide from the night til the noon or so. But it is cool to see a seaweed farm right in front of the hotel beach and later in afternoon you can swim in soup hot ocean right behind the hotel pool.

I think the restaurant needs fans and more marketing. It was quite unpopular. The breakfast was okeish, but have experienced more in hostels and hotels in Tanzania. Also bar should have cocktails written down on the big board, otherwise no one orders drinks. It was more beer and sider bar. I did not really mind it since everything is so close by, but I think it would make them more profitable and attractive since everything else was perfect.

A great team and services. From the entrance they have the Best reception team Nana and Maria (Rasta Baby) who were very attentive to satisfy our needs whenever we ask for it. The girls are amazing Also rooms services were at the point, the room attendant Stella and Brigitte were very kind and helpful. They cleaned my room twice a day and leave the room very neat and peaceful atmosphere.. I had an amazing and magical cocktail that hit the button of vibes in me made by Mr Lameck served at very calm atmosphere. The pool is very big and well designed inside. There is a chilling area at the top of the bar where you feel the Indian ocean breeze while enjoying your drinks. The hotel is very nice…

We had to wait for bathroom to dry a bit to use it for the second person. They have to put rubber squeezer to dry water after shower as the floor is slippery

The location is amazing! So close to everything and the pool is great. Bar staff very friendly, cleaners were amazing (just leave your key at reception whenever you want it cleaned)

Breakfast was not good - too slow (once only coffee took 25 mins, we thought they forgot). Restaurant for evening - NOT good for gluten free. I asked if I could have a certain dish, and the staff just kept saying ‘oh you don’t want vegetables?’ As I am gluten free for medical reasons I ended up not risking it.

The location is perfect as its near a lot of properties and the beach being next to the property, Also the lunch was good had some chicken with Ugali ,that was something , Mostly i loved the pool area and the drinks offer as its was affordable and i could use any currency.

Mosquitos but i informed the lady at the reception and was given something to spray in the room which would have been done earlier but i think mosquitos done have a day on calling o your door.

Thank you for this unforgettable stay! We came as a family of 3 with our little son and couldn’t have enjoyed our time here more. Good vibe and such a friendly team, which really made us feel like home. The pool is big and clean, with its own pool bar inside, which we loved. Prices are very fair, and breakfast was delicious and filling every morning. From the cleanliness to the food, everything was perfect! If you are looking for something….This is it! :-)

Their staff is amazing! The manager received us with a big smile and the girls in the restaurant/pub (Glory and Mary) were great. The breakfast was also very good. Thanks! A note to travellers not used to Africa: I think the reviews about this hotel sometimes are very harsh. They are a budget option that offer a good comfort for the price you pay. Don’t compare them with the Hilton in NY! This 7… they have is unfair!

I think two things must be improved: the bed could be more comfortable and the lockers in the rooms should change.

The feeling of security. Helpfulness of staff. Noise level was acceptable. A good variety of bars and restaurants available nearby.

Poor selection of seafood and local cuisine. No full length mirror in the room. No stool, chair or other seat provided in the room.
