We were extremely happy about this place! It is located in very quiet and peaceful place, far away from the noises. You have access to the beatufil garden where you can hear birds and plenty of other animals whole day and night. From our room, we had a great view on the garden. There was also a terrace where we could sit and rest. You can sleep with terrace door open as there is mosquito net, this will allow you to listen animals whole night while you sleep, that's something what we liked a lot! Owner and all stuff is extremely friendly and responsive. We had a nice chat and were asked daily about our breakfast time and preferences. Breakfast was amazing and tasty! We were able to taste some homemade specials and had nice little talk with staff. Room is very spacious and has absolutely everything - tv, comfy bed, toilet amenities. I highly recommend this place - thank you so much!

We have lived more than 10 years in Thailand and stayed at many places, but Moosiyard Hometel Khao Yai is definitely in our top 5! The family who owns this property is extremely friendly and makes you immediately feel at home. Moosiyard is well located 10 minutes drive from the entrance of Khao Yai National Park and also close to a wide range of restaurants. Breakfast is served on a terrace with a beautiful view on the tranquil garden. Both the western and the Thai breakfasts were excellent, with lots of fresh fruit. The garden has a little stream running through it and lots of birds. A great place to enjoy the nature or read a book. Our villa was well maintained and very spacious. We would have happily stayed here a few more weeks!

Khao Yai can be a bit busy over the weekends, with lots of people coming from Bangkok to relax. Especially the waterfalls are very popular. But even on these days, if you walk for 500 meters on one of the trails, you are completely on your own. But if you have a choice, try to avoid the weekend.

The last 3 days of year of 2022 will never be forgotten as our days made memorable by the magical place and the family who is managing Moosi yard. We were impatient to experience the place from the day we reserved the place well over a month. It didn’t’ take much time to realize the place was a real fairytale with such wonderful family and the team assisting. Uncle Khao was always willing to spend his time on us to give valuable information. The hospitality of his wife and 2 sons were also amazing. Communication was perfect throughout. Always we were offered something extra that we never expected. We were treated as part of their family. The food was very delicious. They were super flexible with preparing meals early in the morning as we wanted to leave out of the premises early for nature watching. The set up in the property itself is amazing. Such a wonderful place to relax. The room is cozy and charming atmosphere with lovely private balcony. It’s a birders paradise. Over 45 birds have been stopped just standing in front of the room. Khao Yai National park is just 5 km away from the Hotel. We visited the next-door Buddhist temple and it was a such a great experience watching the Buddhist rituals. Walking distance to the local market which was also a great experience. The stay of 3 days was over like 3 hours. We were almost in tears when we were leaving the place and the kind hospitable people there. Its not a Hotel but another home. The home converted to a real homely feeling by the by uncle Khao and his family and the staff. Such a pleasant and kind-hearted people. Highly recommend to anyone who loves nature and family atmosphere. And desperately want us to visit this lovely family soon again.

Very enthusiastic and warmhearted people. You immediately feel welcome when you enter the property. Very serene and peaceful place where you can reflect, walk or read a book. Very close to nature and walking trails. Also a small river at the property where you can sit and relax. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variation. The fresh fruit was amazing, especially the Mangosteen (Rambutan) was extremely juicy. I would like to make a special reflection to the father of the house, who founded the hotel 45 years ago. He came and talked with all the guests in the morning, and you could see that he had had a very rich life and had a lot of wisdom. He was so thoughtful and fun to talk to. A good man. He also knew a lot about Belgian chocolate and recommended us a place where we could find good Durian :-). I wish him a good life and much joy. 🙏

The furniture and bed were a bit old, but that didn't bothered me at all, when there are so many other positive things. The vibe was really good.

If you ever plan to travel to Khao Yai, make sure you visit this beautiful and friendly family who run Moosiyard together! Apart from the fact that the rooms are perfect, clean, spacious and comfortable, there is also an incredibly nice atmosphere in this little piece of paradise. Let me start off with the flexibility and kindness of the owners. In our case, we had the most contact with the oldest son. It was very easy to arrange things with him via WhatsApp, he was always helpful and friendly. The most beautiful thing about our entire stay and what will always stay with us is the fact that he has an incredibly great interest in other cultures and is curious about how things work in other places. If you have the time, have a chat with him! We have rarely encountered such an interested and sincere personality in our lives before. In addition, the rooms were more than good, always clean and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is in a separate open space overlooking the garden and nearby river. Everything is made by themselves. And if they don’t have it themselves, they will be happy to drive up and down to get it for you. I could write for hours about this stay but we think it’s time for you to experience it yourself. Moosiyard, if you’re reading this! Thanks again for all the warmth and great moments.

The place is charming and it's in the perfect position to enjoy excursions in the National Park of Khaoyai and easy to reach to groceries and streetfood stalls. The area for the breakfast just right in the garden with plants and the small river it's lovely. We were daily welcomed with drinks and desserts. Much appreciated. The owner's father is the kindest man, Thank You so much for the nice chat. If you need insights for exploring the area you will find all the help needed. I absolutely recommend to stay here if you're looking for place to experience the best Khaoyai. Needless to say bed was comfortable and room and bathroom spotless clean.

It was all perfect

It’s a ‘resort’ which is run by a lovely family. They give a personal touch to your stay by giving a snack and a drink when you come back to the hotel in the afternoon. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The room and the bathroom are spatious and clean and we had a nice balcony. The breakfast was good and it was possible to take breakfast in a box when you want to leave early. We had a very nice stay and it’s impossible to be disappointed when you book this place.

The wall between the rooms is thin, so you can hear the neighbors.

What a wonderful place and host! The garden is huge and well-kept, and the rooms are cleaner than a 5-star hotel. It's clear the host meticulously maintains the place. They organized everything for us—transfers, excursions, and recommended best places for dinner. Every evening, the host greeted us with a delicious homemade dessert. Excellent breakfasts and such a pleasant conversation with the head of the family (an older gentleman). Thank you for your hospitality!

Everything. Maybe the best small hotel we have stayed in for years of travelling all over Thailand. The location with a stunning garden is superb. The small cottage we stayed in is so comfortable and has a very beautiful garden with large outdoor patio. The staff service is fantastic. Tasty drink and snack waiting in the room after being escorted to the cottage. Furnishing is so tasteful. Only breakfast available but several good value restaurants within a mile . We will definitely return for a few days later in the year .

Beautiful setting, so peaceful sitting in the gardens. Helpful staff gave us lots of great advice on how best to spend our time exploring the national park and the best spots for dinner on the way home. Simple but delicious breakfast set us up perfectly for a long day of adventures! Location is superb, close to the park entrance and just off the main road. Plenty of parking for cars, there is also a 7-eleven a short drive away.
