Nestled in the quiet Sukhumvit neighborhood, Marigold Hotel proved to be a delightful retreat during my recent visit to Bangkok. Located away from the bustling city center, the hotel offered a serene atmosphere without the usual traffic noise. Our room on the fifth floor was tastefully decorated and provided a comfortable sanctuary throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was the hotel's free shuttle service every 30 minutes, which made exploring Bangkok's attractions convenient and stress-free. In the evenings, we enjoyed spending time at the nearby bar, frequented by locals who created a welcoming, family-friendly ambiance. The open-air setting under the starlit sky made it an ideal spot for relaxing and chatting with friends. For those seeking a refreshing swim, the hotel's pool, open from 9 AM to 9 PM, offered a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The cleanliness of our room was impeccable, thanks to the diligent efforts of the friendly housekeeping staff. The reception team was always ready with helpful tips and recommendations, enhancing our overall experience. Opting for the morning breakfast was a great decision; the food was delicious and served from 7 to 10 AM, providing a satisfying start to each day. Marigold Hotel also offered complimentary bicycles, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions like the famous 7/11 shop. For destinations further afield, taxis were readily available and reasonably priced, ensuring we could visit malls and other places of interest without hassle. Overall, our stay at Marigold Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the friendly staff to the tranquil surroundings and convenient amenities, every aspect exceeded our expectations. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

How friendly the staff was, the people in the reception can also converse in English which made a lot of inquiries easier and smoother. I love the plunge pool, the gym and the laundry area. You feel going for a walk before dining you can go towards the direction of Bts Bearing, they have the Tonsai Market with lots of local dishes to try. The hotel provided service that did not feel generic and impersonal, it all felt genuine. I would definitely go back. Stayed in the hotel June 14 to June 25 year 2025.

The first 2 days I think they've forgotten to supply our room with the bottles of water.

Nice staff. Very helpful. Pool is nice quiet and clean. Room is modern and large and bright. I love the location. It feels very Thai around there. Great food, a shopping mall nearby and the BTS is close

Only two things. They should have a service to keep bags for people. Every hotel should have this. You can charge a couple of euros and actually make more money that the cost if a single room. Also I booked a room with Booking and got stuck in Bali. They could have changed the date till the next day but they refused to do so. That would have cuts them nothing as the fees are the same but I lost a full nights payment. Most hotels will let you change date if you tell them beforehand. Especially when it’s off season

Good Breakfast (full value for money), peaceful location, near main road/green metro line at walking distance, near seven eleven store, staff was very very caring/smiling, feeling of spaciousness/ openness in hotel. gym as extra surprise. I think hotel was having more facilities than what i was charged through Booking.com. :) (Free metro from 25.01.2025 till 31.01.2025 due to increased pollution in Bangkok - about 140 AQI :o

Nothing which I and my wife did not like but Swimming Pool is a bit small.

The hotel is very nice and a good location. Wifi excellent. 900m from bts and a shuttle to it a few times a day

Upon leaving was told i needed to pay 300 baht from my deposit as some marks on one sheet. I think a pen mark. To be honest they were lucky it was 1am and in a rush because i would have said something. Any wash cycle would have removed. I was absolutely disgusted after my friend and i staying weeks and paying over £600. Rather a stupid decision as i will think twice about staying again after a very nice stay

We only used it for 4 hours during a transit in Bangkok (8am to 11am). Inluding the taxi fare, this was a cheaper option than the airport hotel stay. However, on bookigs.com this hotel advertises FREE airport pickup. They DO NOT HAVE FREE AIRPORT PICKUP and pickup arranged through them is more expensive than regular cab. When reported to booking.com, they did not take any action or refund the cab fare. Unfortunatley, our Cab driver was hopeless. He was not able to find the hotel and my tired family spent more than an hour and half in the cab going around in Bangkok after an overnight flight. There is no reception staff until 7am so no one was available when we called to get directions for the cab driver. That bit was quite frustrating but I would say not the fault of the hotel. It was nice and clean and staff was polite. They requrie a 100baht cash deposit. Its quite far from the Airport. So only worthwhile if you are planning to stay for a couple of days at least. We would have been better off using some airport lounge and then go for a city tour.

Misleading advertisement about Free Airport Pickup.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities are as complete as the description on the website suggested and meet the expectation of the price. The environment felt very good with the decoration going the great job. Room is very comfort with the views of my room facing the far city really catches my eyes.

It would be nice if the hotel provided single-use slippers for guests, as the bathroom floor is quite slippery with water. The location is a bit inside the valley especially for those who travelled back at night. Might need some shuttle service if returning at night.

Breakfast, location and facilities. They have a laundry area that you can use just purchase your detergent from the nearby Imperial/Big C mall.

We didn't have a water bottle for the first 2 days of our stay, I think they forgot but no big deal, there's service water in the lobby and you can purchase it from the nearby mall.

Staff were very nice, friendly, polite and helpful on all aspects. The checkin process was very flexible with good supports. Facilities were clean and also well maintained.

The location is closed to major attactions and bts station with good free advance booking van from hotel during moring period. However for public ride such as taxi and grab driver had some difficulty to locate the hotel location even using google map, lost direction couple times when come back to the hotel.

The accommodation was super comfortable. We had room service everyday we were there and they would refill us with new water bottles, toilet paper and fresh clean towels. We decided to extend our stay as we enjoyed the accommodation so much and it was great value. Everything was super clean, the bathroom was great and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here.

It was a bit far from the main city are of Bangkok but we didn’t mind at all as the quality and price of the accommodation made up for the location. The location was also awesome in terms of being close to authentic local markets which we had a great time checking out.
