Location and vibe and the river, a very peaceful ambiance and cozy and clean facilities, Shabu and menu also quite nice

Great service from the staff there, well looked after during our stay. Friendly, helpful, and very polite staff. The best staff by far. Very peaceful and beautiful place to relax. The most comfortable bed and pillows.

The location of the hotel. As it's hiding in the mounfain, you would have to drive up the mountain roads to get there. The hot water unit didn't really work well. Other than that, this place is perfect.

The location was isolated but access to the commute is an exception. The staff are most helpful in any way they could and friendly.

Facilities and environment around the hut and bar, basic. More aligned to all the other basic ‘home stays’ in the area whilst the price in same league as the Shangri-La in Chiang Mai. If it was half the price, it would be more appropriate and set the right expectations.

The nature and the village

Worst experience in terms of service, from check in to check out. The receptionist and the cleaning lady don't speak any English. They started smirking about the room we initially booked and when we saw it, we understood why. It was a 3 meters trailer so we upgraded to the tree house. While checking the new room, the cleaning lady hiddenly tried to remove the wine bottle from the room and when asked about it, she said it wasn't included in the price, even though it was there...they said its extra 500 baht for the bottle(next day she asked 700 baht for the same bottle). Upon breakfast, we were never been asked about any preferences. The second day, while checking out, the staff was surprised when we asked about the breakfast, even though we paid for it. It took one hour to get it, and we received an omelette and a sunny side up ( again they didn't ask which type of eggs we prefer).To cut it short, they are asking price of a premium service and they are offering poor quality of service.
