The chapulin natural resort was a highlight for me in Chiang Mai. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature around. It's a huge plot of land with few beautiful bungalows. There are lots of animals moving freely around what I highly enjoyed watching. You have a very private space in the bungalows and a nice balcony. The bungalows have a tasteful looking furnishing and the most comfortable bed I had in Thailand. You also truly notice the effort of everyone of the staff working there, they are always helpful and very friendly. It was a pleasure to stay here. :)

It can take a while to get in the city and also to get someone driving you back. It works but it can take time.

The staff here are lovely and very helpful, Uom (so sorry for our terrible Thai pronunciation) cooked amazing breakfast, chatted with us in the morning and helped us when we needed to get to an atm. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and loved being woken up by the wildlife in the mornings, the sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable with your own private balcony at the back that looks out onto the fields and a small stream. There are ducks and so much wildlife to spot too

It's a 40 minute car journey from the airport so is a little long but so worth it for the wildlife and the views. If you are using grab it sometimes takes a while to get a car, but if you are struggling the staff can help and it's the only thing that we had a little problem with.

Beautiful place, room was very nice, loved the bed and decor. Great scenery to look at, stairway to the stars was fun. Large koi in the stream with waterfall. Staff was so nice and friendly. Always a smile on them and the greatest people. Breakfast was ready when we sat down and it was great too. Nice seeing the 2 elephants. When we checked out, they had made us a Krathong to float at the Loy Krathlong festival made from natural items and plants from the yards.

I wouldnt change anything.

beautiful grounds to wander around in, you can sit and look out over the rice fields. It's super quiet and secluded for being 12 k's from the centre of town. I loved it and would definitely return. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There isnt too much within short walking distance but you can get delivery or short grab ride to whatever you may want. The elephants are cool. The geese and ducks are interesting to watch

It’s so great to wake up in nature with ducks, roosters and two elephants and a baby elephant. The staff there are top of the line and make you feel like family. It’s a bit away from Chiang Mai City but it’s worth being in the outskirts in nature.

We wanted to find a place where we could see the elephants rooming around and we found It here.

Perfect place to relax and spend time with family in middle of nature, birds and elephants. Exceptional location and polite people and staff. We made wonderful memories there with our little family. Amazing.

Not a dislike but an area for improvement - Restaurant could have more options for vegetarians.

The resort is beautiful. It is quiet and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is located in a village, but away from crowds. Yet it was not too far from town (by car). Great breakfast. They are prepared according to the time you select. If the foods are cold, the staff will reheat them.

The bathroom has a foul smell, could be due to bad sewage.

It’s a little secluded but with a bike no problem. You can just stay in the hotel grounds, plenty to do and see. The elephant nextdoor, i felt sorry for, his chain is to short. Can’t even place a few steps.

Great guest service from Umm. She is very helpful with everything including arranging reliable taxis. Very good food at very good prices in the Chapulin cafe.

It’s a retreat resort so it’s a little way outside Chiang Mai. Guests need either their own transport or rely on taxis to and from the resort.

We stayed 1 night here and if we knew it was going to be so nice we would have booked more but we had other hotels booked and paid for. We had a really nice cabin big and clean resort is surrounded by ducks and an elephant. Breakfast was the best we had in our 90 day in Thailand. The staff were so nice and we fed and watched the elephant take a bath. Parking was right next to our cabin.
