Very nice hotel with a touch of luxury, in a town in which not many tourists stop over (but should). I had a nice pool view, and the room was modern, with only slight wear. The chair/desk arrangement was form over function, though: the chair is designed to fit snugly under the desk, but the consequence being that your knees/thighs crash into the desk. Oh, well, I still got my work done. The gym is small and rudimentary with aging equipment, but I still got a fine workout out of it. A somewhat solid walk from the train station, but doable for most. Summary: I would come back in a heartbeat.

A pleasant surprise. Good room with comfy beds and facilities. Air-conditioning worked well, so we slept well. The swimming pool was lovely, big enough to actually swim. Breakfast was superb - loads of choice and good quality coffee, certainly some of the best breakfast choices we have had in Thailand. Location was central in Chumphon with lots of food, drinks, and shopping within walking distance. Great value for money.

Excellent value for money! Friendly staff, good size room, very clean, nice bathroom. Pool nice as well. Market next door and a small restaurant opposite the hotel (closed on Sundays). Not many other good restaurants closeby. Free transfer to the train station, but it is possible to walk as well in about 15 minutes. Good breakfast. Did not expect all of this at this price.

The entrance. We arrived at the back of the hotel and did not see the entrance or a sign. There was a long iron fence we had to walk around across a big empty parking lot, which did not look very inviting. Once you reach the reception, it is a really nice hotel though.

The staff is absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and helpful when we had to book transport to our next travel destination. They even offered to heat our meals one evening when we couldn’t be bothered to go out to eat and instead has bought some food from 7/11 (which is surprisingly delicious compared to Danish 7/11 food) and then brought the food to our room. Such a nice gesture and it made us feel very at home. They furthermore insisted that they helped us with renting scooters and brought them to the hotel (without charging us extra), which was lovely so we didn’t have to find a shop ourselves and they took care of everything so all we had to do was pay and drive! Also, the pool is great and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Breakfast is good too.

While the interior is modern which is a plus, the cleaning could and should be upgraded a bit. The drawers in the closet needed a small cleaning and some of the surfaces could benefit from a bit more thorough clean as well.

The room was really nice. The staff were awesome! Loved the balcony overlooking the pool and the tranquil and lush ambiance of the whole place. The location was great too. Fairly short walk to the train station and about a 10 minute walk from a motorbike rental place (Fame Tours). Perfect place to stay for a few days to explore the beautiful and under-touristed Chumphon province!

Nothing. Can't see why this place doesn't have at least an 8 rating.. hopefully my review here nudges it up to 8. If I had to pick something to make the place perfect, I'd say: outfit the rooms with smart TVs so us millennials can easily access our Netflix and YouTubes and also, the beds are a bit hard by western standards but probably soft by Thai standards (somewhere in the middle).

The staff were amazing and super friendly, and we requested extra items such as a bowl of ice and pillows and they were delivered immediately. Breakfast had lots of choice and catered to specific needs. Lots of staff around to help and spoke good English. Pool was clean and nice. Wifi was good and fast. Included a fridge and air con. Would visit again!!!

Took a little while for the air con to kick in however once it did it was lovely. Squeaky floor as you walked, echoing sounds in corridors from other rooms but not due to hotel due to noisy neighbours.

Refreshing welcoming drink. Nice sunny pool! Clean with towels and if you forgot your swimsuit you could rent or buy!!! Breakfast was really good. Lots of choice we choose European food and the cappuccino was good! Reception sold the local coffee and other stuff. During the evening we had the greatest food outside of the hotel. If you do not speak Thai take the ability to interpret with you. We did this with the little Thai we knew and pictures.

Only fault was shower was luke warm not hot

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Every member of staff we met greeted us with a smile… Breakfast was fabulous… great variety and choice. Very clean throughout. I have been travelling Vietnam and Thailand for the past month and this has to be the best shower! The swimming pool was a great bonus too.

The only concern… be careful when in the shower. The tiles can be very slippery. They should consider providing slip mats.

What a nice and friendly welcome from the staff ! The check in was quick, all our luggage - a lot ! - was taken to our room, everything was quick and efficient. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, lots of choice, not only Thai but also European dishes. The omelette lady and coffee guy couldn't have been nicer and friendlier. Fantastic coffee, fantastic omelettes, fantastastic reception staff, fantastic service !
