I like how the hotel has a simple but comfortable room at low cost. Very convenient and walking distance to food place the Ocean Mall and the open big market. The staff know very little English but a very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like that there is no hot water kettle in the room. Such an inconvenience to find hot water to have an early morning cup of coffee or afternoon tea. I mean,why doesn't this hotel just have a large hot water dispenser for use in the lobby ? I see that they have in adjacent conference room? Go figure !

Location was good. Close to train station and able to check in later in the evening after late night train. Room was clean and comfortable. Elevator was useful and didn’t have to walk up flights of stairs to get to our floor. Value for money was good.

24hour front desk was helpful as we checked in really late

Good place to stay one night or two nights. Very cheap and nice room. The staff is very friendly and helpfully.

I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel because it has beautiful gardens and a great front lobby area to relax in. It's very breezy and with much shade from the hot sun due to so many lovely trees in the garden area. One can assume that this hotel was magnificent back in the day. It has many conference areas as well as a restaurant and coffee shop on the premises although not in service at the time. If someone had the money to invest into this hotel it could be fabulous once again.i was even surprised to see a simple work out room there. I really appreciate older style hotels that are still in good working order and clean. I loved that my room had a Bathtub . I took advantage of the during my stay by indulging myself with a soapy tub to lay in with a nice bottle of red wine.. haha.

I didn't like that there was not hot water kettle in the room or even down at the lobby area. Not even a microwave either. If this hotel would just offer a hot water dispenser and microwave in the lobby for guest use it would be wonderful. So simple to do!

The staff was first class. They work very hard to please the customer. One of the staff even picked me up when they saw me walking on the street. Thank you Bie Pie.

Can't complain when the value is so good. I am very happy I chose to stay here.
