Walking down the steps into the resort you'd think its at least a 4-star. The views of the sun, sea, sand, pool, trees, resort - all unbelievably good. Probably the most pleasing views I have ever seen in Thailand. The staff really good, especially Ploy on reception - her English is the best I have experienced. The location is so peaceful and beautiful. Just sit back on the sun chairs and take in the calm. Pool perfectly positioned. Restaurant food and drinks service was incredible. Honestly, for a few nights of relaxation and chill this place is amazing. The beach/sea isnt very deep but the waters and sand are immaculate when you wade in. We wish we could go back.

As its fairly isolated, the restaurant isn't the cheapest (for Thailand). I think when staff are quiet, perhaps give them a maintenance rota. A lick of paint to cover cracks, marks and general wear & tear would go a long way - keep the resort looking as good as possible. Mosquitos are killers in this region!

Magical place and clean beach I recently stayed at The Nest and I’m very surprised about some comments specially about the beach. This resort is located on private beach. We personally found it very clean. Staff are putting a lot of effort everyday but of course they can t simply clean 700 meters sand twice a day. Honestly, nothing wrong with that. Staff were very kind and they were very attentive to our little child. The food is delicious. We were so impressed about the breakfast during the sunrise. What a spectacular scene ! The beachfront villa was very spacious and clean. You can hear sound of waves from your bed. Simply magical ! This place is perfect for a stopover before going to islands. Thanks a lot to all the nest team ! We will definitely come back !

Exceptional in every way, gutted we didn’t not stayed one night; I’d comfortable live there! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the resort is immaculately clean and very well maintained. Our TV was broken and changed within 5mins of us letting reception know; this was the level of attentive service throughout. My wife had crab linguine for lunch; I had some aswell and it was delicious, I highly recommend. Breakfast was presented as part buffet, part a la carte. I had eggs Benedict and my wife Mexican burrito; again both were delicious. The room was very spacious, light and airy, with an incredible view of the sea, pool and beach! 100% book a room with a sea view! I really cannot speak more highly of this hotel, in hindsight I definitely wish we had have stayed at least a week.

The location of the hotel is about a 10-15minute walk from local restaurants. And positioned at the bottom of a short but steep hill. All drivable but some may find it not so convenient to walk.

The resort is on a very clean beach. The swimming pool is idyllic. The whole place feels new and clean. There are a few steps to the individual nests (rooms), but nothing difficult. We literally had the resort to ourselves, so staff service was superb. There is nothing around the resort at all, which is no problem as long as you are happy to eat there. The food was of a good standard, though expensive for Thailand. Chumphon is not on the major tourist trail. This resort certainly rivals those in Koh Tao and Koh Samui. A great location for a few days of chilling!

It was amazing. What a great location, excellent staff, good food and so much more than expected. You get so.much more for your money .. we loved it and would have liked to stay longer... Thank you!!!

A little paint on the outside would be great... that counts for all the hotels we visited from 2 to 5 stars... all locations were near a beach or in the jungle... so yes that does not help. Do not let yourself be fooled by the outside!!!

The BED: it looked like heaven, smelled like heaven, and felt like heaven! With a view on the beach! Very big rooms, very comfy, very clean! Staff was exceptionally wonderful, food was very good!

It's quite secluded, so you're depending on the restaurant, which is a bit pricey for Thai circumstances. I also came in a season with certain currents, which meant the beach was covered in trash - reality check!!! You could hardly walk on the beach, and I just wanted to grab a (million) bag(s) and clean it. I understand why they don't clean it, cuz once you finished, you can start all over again - mission impossible! Im sure they clean it after the currents change. It's really hard to see, but it was also a wake-up call to stop using so much plastic!

The location of the Nest is perfect, right on the beach, nestled in the trees rooms are practically brand new, the amenities are spotless. Loved the netting on the four post bed, added some old fashioned charm. The beach front restaurants are literally a 200 meter walk along the beach, they offered traditional Thai cuisine as well as an abundance of seafood. The Nest has a beautiful selection of dishes for breakfast or a very basic continental option

It felt understaffed, lots of stairs to climb, so if your knees aren’t great, find an alternative. I did not like the 5% surcharge of all cards, very affordable stay but that’s just wrong. I would suggest guests use cash

Lovely bungalows overlooking sea. Restaurant food really good quality and reasonable price. Staff very friendly. Pool really good size for a decent swim. Convenient for Chumpion Lomprayah ferry terminal.

You have to appreciate this is a isolated resort - 30mins from nearest town. But tranquility when you get there!

We loved our stay in this hidden gem away from everything. Comfortable accommodation, prime beach front location and friendly staff. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere and a beach at your doorstep that invites for long walks. We recommend this place and would be back again.

Breakfast was a bit limited and could be from higher standard.

It's been remarkably beautiful here.. after 1 week backpacking the very right resort to simply disconnect to reconnect. Loved everything about it here and even stayed one night longer. For 500 thb you can upgrade once arrived and they even gave us the honeymoon suit for the next day when we stayed longer.
