The beach lodge was perfect. It was exactly what we imagined it would be. The lodge is positioned on the beach front at the very end so it felt like we had our own private beach. The hosts were very welcoming and the resident dogs were an added bonus as we are big dog lovers. The facilities are basic, but delightful. We had a wonderful stay, and only wish we could have stayed longer. We booked the upstairs room above the restaurant, and the patio/decking area there was ideal for sipping beers and watching the ocean. It’s a very romantic spot.

There isn’t anything to dislike. It’s an adorable shabby chic place with a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is a little out of town, but nothing a cheap Bolt taxi can’t fix.

The Lodge is an absolute gem of a place to stay. It is right on the beach with beautiful views. It is tranquil day and night. They only have a few rooms so early booking is essential. We wanted to stay for three nights but, sadly, only one night was available. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The Lodge has a lovely restaurant specializing in German food but Thai food is also available. The food was delicious and eating by the beach was a wonderful experience. Easy listening sounds of the 70s were a perfect soundtrack for a beautiful evening. The owners were kind, courteous and very helpful. The Thai staff were charming too. It is perfect for a short stay but honestly, we would stay for a month, if we could.

What's not to like?

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The choice of food was excellent, including German dishes and beer. Being right next to the beach in a peaceful area was also ideal.

Nothing to remark on really. They don't do breakfasts or meals every evening but there are plenty of other places nearby..

good location not far from Hua Hin city center. Property close to the beach which is quite. The owner and general staff were kind and helpful. We didn’t try the food but I’m sure that must be incredible judged from all table in the restaurant were fully seated. The view from my room was amazing, u will see the sunrise from your window. We will come back for sure.

nothing but just to FYI this place may not good if you are allergic to smoke and also the room was not sound proof. You can hear people talking and doing things but after midnight everything was quiet.

Anya and Michael and Freddy (dog)are superb hosts. A lovely on the beach pad in a secluded position. No breakfast but plenty of coffee and ice cold beer. Close to the beautiful lake with a fantastic board walk all around. Sunrise at the beach sunset at the lake..superb.

We loved the welcome and the care and friendliness of our hosts and being right next to the beach. The atmosphere was excellent as was the food, with the choice of German dishes and beer as well as Thai. They serve the largest schnitzel I have ever seen!

There was really nothing that we didn't like.

Lovely beachfront property. We stayed in the large room above the restaurant and it was so chill and lovely to hear the waves and watch the ocean. The restaurant was fantastic too, incredible menu! The giant schnitzel is recommended (see photo)

Could do with some better curtains and pillows.

The location is just perfect! Right next to a beautiful, peaceful beach. Amazing views! The hosts are also very kind and really helpful. Great athmospere and food. Would recommend!

It was a bit weird that you only get blankets and no sheet on top. It was also a little pricey compared to our others accommodations

The room is on the beach, waking up directly with the sea, it's so beautiful. The rooms are nice and comfy. The owners and staff are really friendly and welcoming. The place is calm, we only hear the sound of the waves. No far away there is some temples to visit and a small village, it's very nice.

There are resident dogs in the hotel, breakfast was nice, homely atmosphere with many guests seemed to be friends of the owners, restaurant with German dishes on site where we tried really delicious (and absolutely enormous) schnitzel. Right next to the beach with lovely sand

room a bit too small to be able to comfortably open the luggage
