Bamboo Resort is a wonderfully quaint, cozy, and comfortable place to stay. It has a variety of spacious rooms all within a 1-2-minute walk to the sea. There are several local businesses (restaurant, bar, massage, etc.) in close proximity as well. Its innkeeper, Nadine, is so kind and always willing to assist with any/all travel needs while visiting. She has been in Thailand for many years, speaks several languages, and is particularly well-versed on all things Khanom and surrounding areas. Whether just passing through, seeking rest and relaxation, and/or a respite from real life, all are easily achievable at Bamboo Resort. The resort draws people from a myriad of different backgrounds making it a fascinating cultural experience as well - if desired. There, I have learned so much and met many travelers I am richer from having known. To include Madame Nadine for teaching me how to speak French accent and introducing me to Jean-Jacques Goldman.

Leaving

Peace and quiet, a comfy bed and hot shower make me happy. Parked my motorcycle out front of my unit and I always like that. Nadine is a lovely host. The Bamboo is an older establishment now and showing a bit of its age but it appeals to those appreciate the simpler things in life. Plenty of posh more expensive new hotels being built around. The best thing is it's right across from Frankies for breakfast and down the lane to CCs for amazing seafood by the ocean.

We loved our stay here. Khanom is a gorgeous place to visit. The room was big and comfortable with great aircon, a fridge and a kettle, a safe etc everything you need. The pool is small but perfectly formed and great for a refreshing dip. If you don't fancy the pool, the beach and gorgeous sea is a 20second walk away via a small path to one side of the villas or via the beach bar on the other side. Great scooter rental next door, lovely beach bar with good food right behind the accommodation, and the best cafe directly opposite the resort. It's a 5 minute scooter ride to the most beautiful road in thailand, and a 30min ride from the pier to go and hop on a longtail boat to see the pink dolphins which was an absolute highlight of our trip. Nadine, our host, was friendly and welcoming. She even gave us a lift to the minivan office when we left which we were very grateful for. She's knowledgeable about the area and is always ready to help.

Everything is very well organized, which makes a really fast check-in. Convenient quite area. The owner and the staff were really helpful: organized rental scooter, taxi, luggage storage. We returned to Khanom later and stayed in the same hotel.

The room was only a short distance to the sea and the coast there was really lovely. The room was pleasant too. Staff were very helpful.

As I didn't have my own transport it was difficult to get to any shops.

A great location, two minutes from the beach on foot, near the road and very near an excellent coffee shop. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and wants people to have a memorable time. Quiet, no noisy places nearby.

Nice resort in a silent area. Access to the beach and I had nice seaview room.

Close to beach but no their own access ,need to pass through the friendly bar instead. But it is ok.

Nice budget bungalows with a friendly owner. Happy to stay here.

A proper duvet cover would be better than a felt blanket with sheets wrapped around it. Becomes a mess when you roll in bed :D
