Nice family-orientated Hotel , very relaxing location.

The cost of the breakfast is too expensive at 600 baht, but you can go across the road from the hotel and have a nice meal at an open-style Thai restaurant, that has been looking after hotel customers for many years.

Love this hotel. So pretty and surrounded by green, beautiful beach and sunset right in front. Great breakfast, pools and kids playroom. Room was nice with trees and bird song on the balcony.

Very minor dislikes but having a bath not shower when booking with a baby would be preferable. We also eat breakfast very early, then afterwards there is no option to buy snacks or any type of drink until the restaurant opened at 11. It would be nice if the pool bar opened for the families who were by the pool and needed drinks service.

The hotel was nicely set out, easy access to each of the pools, restaurants and bars. Reception staff were helpful (with the use of google translate occasionally). The spa was great had a really nice massage and we also did a cookery class that was good fun. The hotel is directly on the beach so it was a nice walk to go along the beach and you could walk many kilometres on flat even sand. Nice local food stalls if you want a change from the hotel but hotal food is also good and not overpriced.

The Jacuzzi was cold and the water very dirty unfortunately. It would have been nice as there is a cold plunge to have been able to use the pair as they should be hot to cold not cold to cold.

We have stayed here a few times, this hotel has a lovely feel about it and we love staying here. It has great swimming pools and beautiful gardens. It also has direct access to the Beach which is great. The beach is clean and it doesn’t have rocks in the water.

The internet is truly awful and doesn’t work most of the time. I asked the desk but nothing happened. Food and drinks are quite expensive now and it’s not the best.

Everything here was good although 2 complaints - see below It was in a lovely position with excellent facilities. It would have been good to have a room overlooking the garden and swimming pools rather than the car park but very good value

My grandson cut his foot badly on a sharp broken lighting fitting in the pool and this was not well dealt with The sunbeds were all taken early in the morning by guests were not using them most of the day

From my arrival to checkout, everything was wonderful. It was my first time to the Rayong area. The Novotel brand brings a level of expectation and this hotel did not disappoint. The room was clean and fresh. There are three pools so finding the 'right' environment was easy. Because it is beachfront, there are wide views and the beach was overall clean with good sand. The pool restaurant had a large variety of Thai/International foods. The price of food was a bit high, but to be expected for the location. Overall the staff was kind and helpful throughout my stay. Its best if you have a car so that you can go out to 7-11 to stock up on some supplies/snacks/drinks as well as finding local Thai/International foods. We ate at Wangborn Pizza (a nearby local 'European' foods) that had a large menu and large portion sizes where the Thai owner/server spoke excellent english.

The massage/spa was adequate but perhaps could have been a better location (with a view) and away from the pool area. I noticed that that area of the pool can be noisy so I wonder if a massage would be relaxing, during peak times in the pool/jacuzzi area. There were several 'vacant' shops and felt like either those should be repurposed or filled with boutique items. It does not look good when they are empty. Perhaps they could give the local community an area to sell to hotel guests in a quaint gift shop.

Nice ambience. Good for families

Only 2 water bottle provided in our deluxe room with a family of 3. Had to call and and policy of 2 bottle was stated. After reasoning that we are three people more bottles were provided. I walked in to the breakfast area from the adjacent pool to fill my water bottle while some lady was citing me some rules. Certainly did not enjoy this while being a paying guest paying premium prices. Will post this in google review as well.

I have been living in Thailand a long time, the prices of your alcohol are exorbitant, I never saw many people drinking because your prices are just so extreme for local beer like Chang. I get the pass plus on top of the charges but to pay over 200 baht for a chain is outrageous if you would charge less people would stay there and drink more all they do is take advantage of the breakfast and that's it...

The resort was full but it did not feel too crowded, the resort is well managed. Special mention to the manager Olga, who was very attentive and made our stay special.

The equipment in the gym is broken and it has been broken for a long time since it was already broken 2 years ago when we stayed before. It should be repaired.

Friendliness of all staff. Room was very spacious and didn't feel cramped. The gardens and layout were beautiful and made for a relaxing stay. The combination of pools and beach was great. The quiet remote location away from the hustle and bustle of city life was wonderful.

The price for breakfast and massages seemed very high compared with what we experienced in Pattaya so we didn't try either. More reasonable pricing for these services and we would have tried them for sure.
