Nice arrangement of 10 spacious studio villas with private balcony, in a quiet (although more on that later) suburban neighbourhood. Villas 1-4 back on to a forested area, though their balconies face frontwards, so not entirely private (though there's almost no-one passing by). With the exception of #1 & #10 which are close to the reception/pool, these may be the quieter setting. #5-10 have private balconies facing the adjacent local moobarn (housing estate), so you do get more noise, but it's not disturbing as it's families, so quiet at night. Villa #5 may well be the pick of the bunch as it's midway between these two sides at the end of the cul-de-sac. It's located about a 10 minute motorcycle ride from downtown Ao Nang, which to me is a good point. You will need your own transport or spend a fortune on taxis. There are numerous small, cheap local restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance, but no Western options. The 420 bar, if that's your thing, is about a 10 min walk, and does offer Western food and Bob Marley. Nice, clean quiet pool and a beautiful well maintained garden. Small, tasteful reception area.

There was one person on reception for my entire stay, who quickly became overwhelmed if there was more than one guest to attend to. Breakfast needs to be pre-ordered the night before, other options are a 5 minute motorcycle ride. The bar is unattended and snack options are crisps and peanuts. I suggest you walk 2 mins to the end of the road where there's a grocery store, where you'll pay half. At the time of writing (April 2024), construction was starting on a house directly outside the entrance to the resort.

The property was located away from the city which was so lovely if you want to enjoy some peace during your vacation. We hired a scooter which was super convenient to get around & the villa organised that for us quickly. They are very helpful when it comes to booking activities so that was a plus. The pool was luxurious! The rooms were so spacious & clean. I really enjoyed every bit of my stay :)

I wish the pool would be accessible later in the evening. We hoped for an after dinner dip some nights when it was hot outside, that would be my only gripe.

Beautiful villas nestled in a peaceful area of Aonang. The villas are spacious and have a cozy feel to them. The pool was empty every time we went, so it seemed as though it was a private pool. The staff were willing to help and greeted us kindly, allowing us to check in slightly earlier. I found a little gecko in our room, and immediately a member of staff came to help remove the little creature. It did no harm and was actually quite cute! Overall, a great hotel for the price. Definitely has the luxury feel. The only slight (emphasis on slight!) downside is there are few shops within walking distance. However, you can easily rent a bike or order a taxi. We opted for taxis, however next time we may rent a bike instead as sometimes the taxis took a while to accept on the Grab app. Of course, this is not the fault of the hotel staff at all. Just something to bear in mind.

We had an amazing stay, the place is beautiful, pastoral, very well maintained. There is a gorgeous pool and because there are only 10 units, there is no crowd or noise. Our room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. As for the location, it is only a 7 minute/$5 ride to the hustle and bustle of Aonang Beach then you get to come back home to the peace and quiet. And there are a number of nice restaurants in walking distance so you always have that option. We stayed 8 nights and were really sad to leave☺️

We loved everything about it!

Very clean, quiet and well-maintained, boutique property. The 10 villas are spread across a wonderful & daily maintained tropical garden; the reception building and the pool are all very clean and in excellent condition. Each villa has its own private patio (hammock, 1 table, 2 arm chairs) facing the garden, a large indoor sleeping area which has a wall separated office area, a small couch, cable including flat-screen TV, and a good-sized bathroom with an instant hot water shower behind a glass wall. In the room you'll find an electric 1 liter kettle, a mini fridge which as a small freezing area, a hair dryer and a decent number of plugs available including nearby the bed. The air conditioning with inverter was very efficient and silent during the night. You will be provided with pool towels, umbrellas, mosquito repellent, safe. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in providing guidance and tips for the main attractions in the area, including restaurants. We were looking for off-the-beaten-track attractions around Krabi and had our own rented car, therefore, the parking space on the property was very welcoming. There's a good WIFI signal across the property. From the Eco Villa to downtown Ao Nang and back, we used Bolt without any problems (maximum 10–15 minutes away).

A truly fantastic stay at this fabulous hotel. Spacious room that was super clean. Pool area was immaculate and most days we had it to ourselves. Super easy by taxi to reach all the beaches and restaurants. Local restaurants were great when we didnt want to travel for dinner. Pekky the owner helped us select the best places to eat. The garden area was peaceful and tranquil. So relaxing. We expected something special and this property did not fail to deliver. Thank you Pekky and all your staff. We loved the quiet vibes of the hotel and its location. The staff was above and beyond helpful and always available. We ended up renting a scooter to avoid the wait times of getting a taxi, Grab, or Bolt and we’d definitely recommend that to any guests staying here. Becky arranged it for us, and they dropped it off at the hotel and picked it up for us. The water front is not walkable but not far by motor vehicle. We only ate breakfast at the hotel one morning, but it was delicious. The room was clean and crisp and we got fresh towels everyday! The pool was also very clean. I also told them it was our honeymoon and they surprised us with the loveliest room decorations.

I loved the individual villas and the quiet surroundings away from Aonang Beach. The room is spacious and comfortable with an outside sitting area. The hammock on the patio is a great idea except that if it is raining you get rained on. l also loved the swimming pool and its surrounding area. Clean, quiet and tropical.

Sometimes it was hard to access the staff to ask for any help. I think the reason is that the receptionist was doing multiple tasks and could not always be there when needed. This could be improved, as well as the drinks on offer from the bar.

We totally loved staying in Aonang eco villa! everything was great and beyond our expectations! The accomodation is hidden in a gorgeous garden with a pool. Our villa was very spacious and clean, with a beautiful balcony with a seating area where you could feel like you were in a tropical jungle. The place was very calm and quiet, just perfect for those seeking for relaxing vacations! The hosts were very kind and helpful to whatever we needed and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We would definetely visit this accommodation if we ever go back to Krabi!

The distance from the centre of the shopping and food area and the beach. We were already aware of the location of the accommodation so we did not have any unexpected experience. We hired a motorbike for going around, the hosts helped a lot with the process, which was fun for us! So in order to be independent of taxis etc and have a flexible timetable you will need to hire a motorbike or car. I am not mentioning this as a negative thing just as an advice to future visitors!

Such a peaceful oasis away from the busy Ao nang beach. Absolutely immaculate rooms large and spotlessly clean set in beautiful gardens swimming pool immaculately clean and warm. Location perfect two minutes walk to Oscar villa which serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Another local restaurant straight in front of eco villa and ten minute Walk to another bar restaurant cafe 4.2 which has music and best burgers if you need a break from Thai food ! You can get a tuk tuk from Oscar villa into Ao nang for 100 bht. Would definitely recommend eco villa ao nang staff friendly and helpful.
