On arrival the staff are so friendly, chom and her team welcome you into the resort like somebody welcoming you into there house. We had a pool villa and it was very spacious and comfortable, the main resort is in a beautiful tranquil jungle setting. On check out day our 2 children were very ill due a bout of food poisoning picked up from somewhere. We asked if we could stay another night but the resort was fully booked. Then the staff were a huge help, they drove me to the pharmacy and back. Said we could stay and use resort facilities until we found somewhere and could check in. They then also let our children lay down in a quite room while we waited. Going even further when we did find somewhere and could check in they gave us a ride there. This resort is at the top of ao nang, so great to escape the hustle bustle, but still close enough to get Into town quick. The resort has a great shuttle service and is only 200baht to get back from town late at night on a tuk tuk. Absolutely brilliant resort, amazing staff that went above and beyond.

While the location is far too remote to be able to walk anywhere, the grounds were stunning and it was a welcome retreat from the touristic hustle and bustle of Aonang Beach. You can't have both: the spacious jungle feel close to the beach, so it's one or the other. The shuttle to/from Aonang Beach worked well (but it requires you to plan on a 2 hourly basis/the shuttle runs every 2 hours from 8am). The bed was comfortable and decorated with fresh orchids. The bungalow itself, cleaned daily, was homely and the kettle, a nice little addition. The WiFi worked very well, as did the air conditioning. The pool area with sun loungers was very nicely designed and kept meticulously clean. The breakfast (available at an extra cost) was excellent: Western style and Thai, with a wide variety of fresh fruit and eggs made to order. The restaurant and reception area were beautifully decorated with a jungle vibe. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, with a drink on arrival. I would definitely return but probably out of season when the price is right.

I simply had to mark it down a point for the location and that was being generous, as there really is nothing around that area and the shuttle was great but proximity to the beach is everything really. I was there for New Year, so it was very expensive and I couldn't find anywhere else suitable that was closer to the beach, having booked at the last minute. The shuttle stops at 6pm each day which is too early, in my opinion - I think they should run until 10pm. I also thought that 8.30pm was too early to close the bar and restaurant.

Gorgeous property. The grounds were lush and tropical. Maintained beautifully. The pool is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good. We had a pool side bungalow. It was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The AC was efficient, and they also had a floor fan. Complimentary water and coffee each day and daily housekeeping. The free shuttle to town and back was handy. Overall, this was a great stay. I recommend.

The property does not have close proximity to a grocery store for ice, etc. You'll need to walk about a half mile along a fairly busy road to a local market for basic provisions. There's a mosque next door. They sing/pray each morning around 5am. This, together with the local roosters means you're up early.

Quiet resort a distance from Ao Nang beach. Fabulous pool with sun beds and beautiful jungle gardens. We had breakfast at the resort too and an evening meal which were both excellent. As the resort is too far to walk to the beach- the hotel provides a free lift every 2 hours down to Ao Nang during the day and a return 3 times in the afternoon.

The accommodation was just beautiful! We had a two bedroom poolside apartment, and it was so much bigger and nicer than the photos suggested. My children adored it. It was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. The beds were super comfy, as were the pillows. The pools were all exceptionally clean, and the beautiful gardens were very well maintained. The staff at the resort are lovely and so kind, helpful and polite. The meals we had here were the best we ate our entire week in Ao Nang and large portions. There was a free shuttle into town every two hours, and it was very punctual. We used it a lot. We loved popping into town, but it was wonderful to return home to our peaceful haven each day, and we're so glad we booked here and not in town. There is a wonderful local night market nearby and we highly recommend that as it was only frequented by locals but had the best stalls and was really clean and well organised. You must try the don't stand, which sells various ones stuffed with different flavours for 10 baht!

Nothing! Everything was perfect.

The resort itself is very nice, there is a common area at the reception where you can sit and the pool area is very nice. Especially the pool area with the surrounding garden is really beautiful. The bungalows were nice and spacious as well. There is a free shuttle service to the beach several times a day, which is very convenient and needed as the resort is a bit outside of Ao Nang. However for this reason it is relatively quiet. The stay at jungle village can be recommended!

On the first day we had linens with spots on it, though they were immediately changed the next day. The location is quiet but outside of the city. The hotel staff was friendly, but only superficial. I got a bad infection and needed to go to the doctor. They took me to the clinic the 5 minutes drive with their shuttle car but charged money for it. We left 3 days early and there was not even an inquiry why.

Perfect little 'village'. The family who own and run it are wonderful, great service and the restaurant food was fantastic. The pool area was well thought out with plenty of sunbeds, table and chairs. The complex was immaculately clean and the grounds and landscaping were really well cared for. Free rides down into town and the beach which was perfect, although we could walk it in around 15 mins. There are restaurants and bars a few mins walk away and a 711 shop within 5 mins walk. Perfect base and reasonable prices. Just a wonderful, peaceful place to stay

Perfect little holiday destination in Ao nang beach. Close to Ao nang beach, free shuttle offered at many times of the day, great on site restaurant. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We were able to book tours at the hotel too.

Pillows weren’t great, too puffy for our liking and no proper duvet meaning you’re freezing with the air con on and too hot without. There was a pool table upstairs that we weren’t told about and only found out on check out which was disappointing!

Loved the large villa with kitchen facilities (a real treat to have a coffee maker!) our villa felt very well cared for and had one of the most comfortable beds we had during our trip. The grounds were extremely clean and well looked after and had the choice of 3 swimming pools to use which were very clean with plenty of sunbeds. It was one of the best places we stayed in during our month in Thailand. You felt the staff really went out of their way to help you and make sure you had the best possible experience, we were travelling with our 7 month baby and they provided cot without me even asking and also helped us arrange a taxi to Koh Lak at short notice. The staff spoke great English and were amazing with our baby ☺️ Would definitely go back if we are in Ao Nang again!

Jungle village is a fabulous place to stay in Ao Nang. It’s far enough away from the busy beach area and lovely and tranquil. Super nice pool areas, staff and accommodation . We had a kitchen and Terrance along with the choice of 3 swimming pools. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped . On offer is a Tuk Tuk service to and from the beach. Along with a restaurant on site. Also a taxi service to and from the airport .
