We had an amazing time at Pinthong Aonang Villa! The staff is a really nice family, and they were always smiling and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are nice, and the two pools are great. Our two kids (aged 2+4) had a great time in the pool and little play area. There are a whole bunch of cheep local eating options just a short walk from the villa. It’s about a ten minute drive to the Aonang beach and night market.

Just one thing, on booking it said that we can ask for breakfast at the villa when we get there, but it turns out that their kitchen was closed because it was low season. We still bought great coffee there every morning.

My Family and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute that we were here. We travelled to 7 different places in Thailand and this was our favourite stay. Wanna is such a beautiful soul and a fantastic host that will do anything to make sure your stay is as you expect. She made me wonderful coffee in the morning, she organised for our laundry to be done and gave us local recomendations. The most part was that it felt like home in the middle of our long travels and we just took time to relax in the beautiful pool in safe friendly surroundings. Wanna and her family left a flutter in my heart that I will always think of when I remember my time in Thailand. Thank you Wanna, Michelle, Dave and Ruby D10 :)

Great quiet location away from the hustle of Aonang but only a free 10 min shuttle to get to the beach. Modern equipment, air conditioned bedrooms, Netflix YouTube, nice large shower, big fridge with free daily water cold beer available from Wanna. Great fresh cooked breakfast available good coffee very reasonable prices. Wanna will also sort your laundry if you need. She will organise scooter or bike hire and get the best prices. Wanna will also sort your excursions and Boat trips, better price than at the beach and no need to haggle just ask her. Highly recommend the early bird speedboat to Phi Phi, watch the sunrise over the bay, enjoy your breakfast on Poda, we were 1 of only 2 boats there, Superb..!! Beat the worst of the crowds to Maya Bay, it gets heaving busy later in day. Nice lunch on Phi Phi again prime seats in restaurant and at beach cos you are there before the rush. Takes in all the sites, Viking cave, monkey beach, Tor island and the other little one, at a time when you can walk between them cos the tide is right, Bamboo island, Chicken island. Time built in for snorkelling in Maya Bay, sunbathing on Phi Phi and Bamboo just cos you are out early… then back to Aonang to watch the sunset, followed by a well earned rest…. All soft drinks and water and meals included great value and worth the pain of the early morning pick up in the luxury mini bus. Also recommend the airport pick/drp off from Wanna. Nice luxury air conditioned bus, driver waiting with sign when you dis embark straight to resort, no messing about only 600baht… 2 nice pools, only small but well shaded by trees, cleaned every morning, gardens well maintained, One last thing the little tuk tuks are 200baht fixed price, the larger vans 250baht that is the ride not per person, just so you know. If you want a quiet peaceful trip away from the corporate mayhem and noise, go and see Wanna.

Nothing . One of our air conditioners didn’t work properly on 1st night, engineer couldn’t fix it the following morning so it was replaced by a new unit before the 2nd night. Cannot fault the service

This resort is just beautiful. I read the reviews before we have arrived. The villas are amazing.They are modern,spacious ,clean with great Aircon and huge bathrooms.The outdoor area is also beautiful and well maintained. Swimming pool is awesome. There are trees for shade around the pool with comfortable beach beds. It’s clean and big enough to swim The owners are so kind and helpful. They helped us with everything . It’s only short ride to Ao Nang Beach.They will drop you off there and will pick you up. They have booked the tours for us , made us coffees, gave us umbrellas, lighted up citronella candles in the evening and list goes on and on .The morning we had left lady woke up 6 AM just to give as string bracelets for good luck.It was so sad to leave and we can’t wait to be back. A delightful family-run villa resort in the hills above Ao Nang sea front. We stayed here 2 nights as a stopover between Koh Lanta and Koh Samui. Spacious villas with large comfortable beds (best sleep so far!), big corner settee and internet TV, full kitchen facilities (multi cooker, microwave and hot plate, pans, cutlery) and nice bathroom/shower. Two immaculate swimming pools set in a nice garden with young palm trees for shade. The staff here are genuinely friendly and helpful people and always at your service. A nice quiet setting above the raucous (for us) Ao Nang strip, with free shuttle service until 10pm. General store, scooter hire and bar/restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay again!

Nice rooms with AC in bedrooms (not in communal room, but fan provided). 2 nice swimming pools and nice play area for kids. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Very kid friendly. Would keep into account that our baby was sleeping during cleaning time and would adjust to that. Transfers provided with their own tuktuk/van, which is great and very kind. Rented a car that was in perfect condition.

Breakfast was prepared by only 1 person, that caused quite some delay as most people had breakfast around the same time (and we felt sorry for the lady that seemed in over her head sometimes). Would advise to do this with 2 ppl. Laundry was half the price around the corner of the hotel.

The property was close to Au Nang so only 5/10 minute free shuttle service that ran until 10pm, but it was quiet and tucked away enough there was no disturbances. Perfect location. The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating, the pool and facilities were great, with rooms cleaned everyday and stock replenished. Couldn’t recommend this property enough and great value for money, we will definitely be staying here again.

Super laid back well designed small resort with two killer pools. I can’t start my day untill I have at least two cappuccino’s, they had one ready for me everyday! Killer homemade breakfasts & great fresh fruit and homemade bread. Great location. They can handle all your activities & travel plans Very quiet little village location and only a few minutes down to the chaos of Aonong Beach. The rooms were very clean and great beds with functional kitchen ( I never used ) why cook when you have the great resort restaurant a few steps from your room. Small menu but changes up every few days. We ended up extending our stay for another week. No complaints at all. Can’t wait to come back

This place is an absolute gem. The villas are clean, comfortable with everything you need. The owners are exceptional & friendly. They work so hard to make your stay and great experience. They went above and beyond to help. Nothing is too much trouble. Convenient, free of charge lifts to the beach makes it very easy to get out and about. The food served at breakfast is great value for money and delicious. This is a place I would definitely return to.

My brother and I really enjoyed the stay. It was so relaxing and the apartment was very nice and clean with enough space. We were quite amazed how big the apartment was. The whole facility had a very tropical flair and we often swam in the pool without even meeting other guests. Around the apartment you could find really nice bars and local cafes. It was just perfect and we definitely would come and stay there again!!!.
