The stay was overall allright, nothing special to it. Would likr to compliment the technical staff that came to our assistance very quickly (loss of power in our bungalow). They offer a beach shuttle 3 times a day, but only to the beach, not back. Just book a Grab driver to take you back to the resort (80 baht)

I stayed in the lower rows of bungalows, which made the walk to our place a bit shorter. People who stay in the upper rows have a lot of uphill walking to do. They offer a shuttle, but there is only 1 vehicle (5 people max), so you either walk, or get fed up of waiting for the shuttle and walk aswell. (Bonus: the shuttle driver is very nice and smiles all the time)

This is a steep sub tropical forest hill side site of about 2-250 individual villa rooms with an interesting architectural hex design. Individually air con cooled and they take some time to get from ambient 35°C to a comfortable 24°C (3 hours) so draw your own conclusions about energy efficiency. For us old and perhaps infirm there is a constant shuttle service in small Toyota songthaew that run between reception, breakfast and restaurant and swimming pool which if you're fit well and dont mind the sweat pools will be within walking distance for many. All staff are courteous, gracious and will do all in their power to please and accommodate and looked after me carefully. I cannot thank them enough. The rooms are fully equipped and The ribbon development of Aonang village begins just 50 metres to main road from reception, so 7-11, Lotus supermarkets nearby as well as Home Kitchen, a very nice Thai restaurant across the road plus the usual plethora smaller and always good "street food" style eats and cannabis sellers if that really is your thing The Fiore breakfast and restaurant ate also great and rating there is.a fine option for choice and price.

Villa in the jungle was great when I booked it, too isolated despite the many shuttle options with my present inability to move about in the heat. Not their fault, but keep in mind if you have young children or find yourself with.some incapacities. And the energy use of this place must be off the scale, None of the staff areas are air-conned so my heart felt apolagies to them and the Greta Thunberg

What can you imagine for a paradisiacal trip you will find it in this hotel, specially to who likes the nature. The room had a really magnificent beautiful mountain view of the tropical's trees and sea. The big Room, made of Bamboo, was romantic, well equipped, clean, smelling good, with an incredible view on the balcony which was equipped with a super relaxing jacuzzi. The stuff was very welcoming, always smiling and helpful. The food was also Good. To reach the center of Aonang there were cars available in specific time for free for us. For us if you re coming to Aonang you should really stay in this hotel, you will not be deceived!

All was really ideal. The less good thing to say is maybe the location to the beach: 35min walking and 10min with tuktuk (100baht≈3euro)

Amazing views, the room was incredible, the jacuzzi of our room was the highlight of our stay.

We needed to call reception every time we need it to go up and down as al rooms are up on the hill. Staff was nice but not much helpful. When we booked it didn't say that owner was Muslim and no alcohol could be purchase there.

Fantastic setting and our room was really fab and did not have the disappointing elements stated in other reviews. We did have a leaky air con unit however caused us minimal distress as was odd drip or two

The location is one of the best elements and worst elements of this hotel. Whilst providing a secluded feel, the site, due to its size requires shuttles. These were prompt for us, but others in other areas of site struggled and apparently some longer waits. Also this is a dry site, no alcohol. There is a 7-11 across the road from entrance to site..This needs to be stated on website / booking.com

Beautiful setting on the hillside, you get a mini insight into the jungle. The resort is full of wildlife (all safe) and the staff are so knowledgeable on all of this. We spoke with the garden manager who told us all about the species we described. The view from the resort is stunning. The cabins themselves are gorgeous, best place I’ve stayed in Thailand so far. Super huge bed, great air con, spacious bathroom and main room, nice and private feel. Pool area is also gorgeous, looking down onto the well managed gardens and further scenery.

The walk up to the cabins is tough if you’re not too fit because the hill is STEEP but there is a shuttle to help you up there you just have to wait a little while sometimes. This wouldn’t put me off though.

The entire resort is set on a hill side 2km away from the beach so you will definetely find youre peace and quiet time here. To get to your bungalow, they have a 24/7 shuttle service which you can call at any time. It is not reccomended to walk up the hill in the heat. The bungalows are pretty big with very nice bathrooms and a spacious terrace. The staff was very kind. The pool is amazing

It was my first time in Thailand so i dont know if this is normal but there are a lot of insects in places where they shouldnt be.. e.g the breakfast buffet or in the rooms. The breakfast was lackluster for my european taste. Lots of rice and noodle dishes which (for us europeans) does not belong anywhere near a breakfast.

Such a beautiful villa! We loved how romantic and comfortable it was. A very unique resort - it felt like you were in the jungle but also close enough to get into Aonang beach. Great pool, very calm and get view although very busy and not enough beds. The room was very spacious being able to lay out 2 massive suitcases and have enough room. The bathrooms were clean, large and again you could spread your things out. The bed was amazing! Especially after staying at a lot of places with hard beds, these were so so good!

You definitely need patience staying here! The vans to pick you up have a wait time between 5-15 minutes which isn’t ideal, and the hill are so massive that the drive can sometimes be a little scary. The resort is situated a little far out to all the good restaurants. They have a shuttle but operating at such odd times (10am and 3pm) that we could never use them. At night they have big flood lights right outside the rooms- these attract a lot of wasps/ bees and other insects and can’t be turned off so the light fills the room

WOW. This hotel is just incredible. We had the best stay ever! We stayed in a villa and the room was just 10/10. So clean, bed was the comfiest I’ve had in Thailand. Smart TV with Netflix etc. loved being in the middle of the jungle. There is a constant Tuktuk to take you up to your room that we utilised frequently - only once we waited more than 5 minutes. Staff were very helpful in carrying both our bags to the room. Pool area is gorgeous and gym is great and so clean. Breakfast was fab too.

Feel bad saying any negatives, I’d be being way too picky as our stay was so incredible - but I wish the bath water would’ve been a little hotter than lukewarm. Also think it could do with a few more sunloungers by the pool.

Staff very very very friendly, especially drivers to room. Rooms are clean. Pool is amazing. Good hotel to stay away from noise, real jungle feel. Not that far from town - about 25min walk

Restaurant food is a bit too pricey and food is not that special. Recomend going to street. And a minus that it is alcohol free hotel. At least beer by the pool would be perfect on hot sunny day
