Hotel is spacious & free taxi services provided was convenient. Hotel area is not noisy and very calm. Shower heater works well. Good breakfast, stayed there for 4 nights and i enjoyed all the breakfast spread - not alot but enough and satiable, highlights are - chicken panang, banana coconut milk dessert.

hotel areas are filled with pests like lizard, flying insects like bees, dragonfly, mosquitoes, frog, and snails. the resort should work on cleaning the pool frequently as there are alot of dead insects on the surface of the pool. Some rooms have glasses as toilet walls which are abit unsettling. Towels are washed and air dried beside the rubbish bin area - abit unhygienic... Hotel is strict about the items provided and will charge if theres anything missing so good to double check the existence of chargeable items with hotel staff upon checking in. Lane behind the family pool suite before entering the resort was abit scary to walk at at night as i heard alot of sounds of pests...

We booked the room with a private pool, the bed was super comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. The hotel is 10 min per ride (beach shuttle) to the „inner city“ and we liked the secluded area. Across the street is a little restaurant were you can eat yummy noddle soup. You definitely need to rent a bike or car to move around freely as it’s way to dangerous to walk besides the street, we didn’t mind tho. The stuff was friendly but discreet. We ordered room service twice and they came really fast with our order. You can also use Netflix and Amazon Prime with your private account which we used in the evening. The room we booked was beautiful and had a lot of space. WiFi worked well only when it was raining it lacked a bit but we had mobile data anyway so not a minus for us. Taxi to the airport and 2 Tours was paid and organised in the hotel easily

One of the staff member who worked at the counter spoke really bad English, I don’t expect everyone to speak English but if you work with tourists in a hotel you should be able to communicate. The fridge lost quiet a lot of water inside, maybe it was broken? It would be nice to have a little fishing net for those with a privat Pool because we had some bugs in our pool and would have easily taken care of it ourselves.

We had a very pleasant stay! The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety, and everything was fresh and delicious. The food selection wasn’t huge, but the dishes offered were of high quality and tasted great. The hotel’s location is outside of Ao Nang, which was perfect for us as it was peaceful and quiet. A complimentary transfer to the city was provided, making it very convenient. The pool area was simply fantastic – very clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax. We were especially impressed by the service: since we had to leave early and missed breakfast, we were offered a lunch box. The quality was outstanding, and it left a great impression on us. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service – we’d love to come back!

bit far you need to take a taxi to the beach and market. They offer free shuttle service but only after 1pm. I think it would be helpful if they have free shuttle for 8am and 9am as well. if you have your own transportation it’s great location. I personally didn’t like the breakfast options much but there were many to choose from

The private pool villa's are fantastic- well furnished, decently clean and the attached pool just makes it very convenient to relax. The staff was good, polite and helpful. Great stay.

The pool cleanliness can be improved along with the basic breakfast provided. Pool jacuzzi does not operate at night and control should be given as per guest requirement. Location bit far from the happening places-scooty available on site for rent.

We had amazing time at this hotel. The room was very clean & comfortable & we loved that the pool was right outside our room. The staff were amazing and we used the laundry service which was very good value for money and our clothes came back smelling lovely! The restuarant was great and the food was lovely.

The torch in the bedroom didn't work but we didn't end up needing it although there was a power cut during a short storm.

If you’re the sort of travellers that don’t mind being a bit further out, in somewhere a little bit quieter, with really friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, good food and clean and modern rooms, then this is the place for you. The swimming pool is massive - you can use it to get some really good swimming in and not feel like you’re running into anyone. During our visit there we also felt like the staff were there purely for us. They are so friendly, charming, helpful and attentive. We had the most hilarious date night with dinner in front of the pool, and the staff made so much effort to make it feel special. There’s a hotel cat which was also very amusing, so we were very happy to spend lots of time in the hotel. It had everything that we needed to really enjoy ourselves. However, if you do want to head into town then there’s a complementary shuttle that the hotel put on to get you in and out of the beachfront. We found this super easy and convenient, so don’t be put off.

Everything was brilliant but there is a cockerel in the property next door who likes to sing in the early hours of the morning - it didn’t particularly bother us, but it might be worth requesting one of the rooms either closer to reception, or on the hill (rooms with private pools) if you think that would be an issue for you.

Pool was mostly dirty - but I guess it was because of the rain. While some of the staff are as they should be, few don't have the slightest wit to handle questions. Also, we did a early checkin and I understand there was no breakfast for us that day, so we wanted to buy ourselves some breakfast. However, the restaurant staff completely ignored us and denied everything. We had to wait till we got a scooty and went to the nearest restaurant. Location is a bit far from the main hub.

Amazing hotel. 100% recommended for both families and couples. Everything is new, modern. The area of the room and the balcony - wow. The pool is great (big) and perfect sunbeds. There is a pool bar with good cocktails and other drinks. You can order food both to the room and by the pool (food prices are the same as in the walking street of Ao Nang Beach). Breakfast for different tastes - both local dishes and European cuisine. The food selection was partly changed every day. And I would also like to give the eleventh star for the hotel's talisman- the cat :)

Everything in this chermantra Aonang Resort was good. The pool was great and clean the room we booked was great shows in the pic. Most importantly the staff was very polite and friendly with a smiling face. The location of this resort was nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was good too. The resort also offer the outdoors activities too so that you don’t need to worry about. The only downside fell is that all the food and pubs and clubs are down to the beach side. The rest of the resort is 100% worth it
