Definitely a unique location, by the stream. In the morning when you wake up peacocks are waiting for you on the veranda. We stayed in a bungalow and it was big, big bathroom (otherwise open which can be quite cold in the morning). Comfortable. The breakfast was good but you have limited options. The accommodation is good for resting, working on the computer (lots of space on the terrace). Massage is also offered but it is quite expensive for Thai prices so we didn't go.

The entire complex is a bit run down. The wooden elements could use some renovation or a coat of paint.

Exceeded expectations massively (we also read all the reviews and decided to book a week anyway and we are so pleased we did)! This is a traditional and charming resort which for the years and flooding they’ve endured, has been kept in great condition. We stayed in room 12 and our room was faultless, it was perfect. Generous sized room and super clean even by my very high standards. Water is consistently hot (we were able to fill our jacuzzi tub most nights with no issues) and the best water pressure from a shower we’ve had in 3 months of travelling Thailand No bugs or mosquitoes (this could be seasonal also). I came prepared but needn’t worried. We saw more mosquitoes in Thai cities than here! Excellent, plentiful and a choice of cooked to order breakfast which always came with fresh fruit, fresh OJ, warm croissant, toast, tea/coffee (see pics). Comfiest bed and softest bedding. Fluffy white big towels, changed daily with bath mats and smelt absolutely divine. Food at the restaurant was always delicious, generous and served quickly. It’s worth that bit more you pay. Strong WiFi connection throughout the resort. Free water/tea/coffee replenished everyday generously. Our room was mainly shaded by the trees so we never had to use air-con. Pool area is a nice size, only 4 beds but that never posed a problem, just grab a chair or sit in the pool. Resort never felt overrun with guests. Our room (12) felt very private. Never heard our neighbours so assume it’s good sound proofing. PRAISE TO ALL STAFF (cleaners (we had 5 every day!), reception, waiting staff, everyone(!) who are some of the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating we’ve experienced in Thailand. THANK YOU for making our stay one of the best. Tip: Location is far out from central Mae Rim so a car or motorbike is advised otherwise I’m sure Grab is available (for food it is although limited options and longer delivery times).

Nothing, it was a 10/10 stay.

The natural setting along the river and beautiful birds. The food was fab, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful.

Maybe I dont know enough about birds, but three were in cages. I felt as if one was depressed as it was losing feathers and it seemed very lonely. It just made me a little uncomfortable…

This is a lovely hotel in an absolutely stunning location. The waterfall really is right there and it’s such a peaceful place to just sit and watch the water (and the resident peacocks). The food was great and we loved the fruit platter that came with our breakfast. The staff are lovely too. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a great jacuzzi bath. The balcony was great place to sit and relax. I didn’t get to use the spa but it looked great and we did enjoy the pool. Very relaxing place.

To be honest, my family and I were initially very hesitant about staying in this hotel after reading reports about terrible floods in the area. However, the hotel managed to blow our expectations out of the water. Even after the floods, the hotel is very beautiful and tranquil. You can definitely notice the commendable efforts by hotel staff in fixing the flood damage. Very impressive work in such a short amount of time. We are also very impressed with their excellent service. Not only have they accommodated our request to serve us an earlier breakfast (due to an early plane flight), they had very kindly arranged for a couriered service after we accidentally left an item in our hotel room. 10/10 service.

It’s isolated in a quasi- jungle setting. Relaxing as a river cascades down beside the property. Peacocks wander around and welcome you. The pool is wonderful alongside the river and a great place to escape the hustle of city life. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was really good and well-cooked. The chalets were rustic in design but very comfortable.

The isolation means you need to book trips to leave the property or have your own transport.

It is beautifully located next to a waterfall, right in the Forrest and freely walking peacocks. The staff is welcoming and the food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and get cleaned very nicely everyday. We enjoyed our stay the fullest. The staff is super welcoming and treat you like family. When travelling again to chiang mai we will for sure be back :)

BEAUTIFUL. Highly recommend this place. It was serene and right in the middle of the jungle on a waterfall, not pretentious at all. Peacocks everywhere. The food was great, service was great. Put waterfall cottage was lovely and comfortable. Our whole stay was heavenly. We also went to the spa and the services were fantastic. So nice to get a calm retreat for a couple days in the mountains.

Nothing. Highly recommend.

We loved the beautiful location and having breakfast next to the waterfall. The staff were also lovely, particularly Sim, who drove us to Chiang Mai airport. We also thought the breakfast was great, and also particularly enjoyed the Thai green curry. The resort is some distance from nearby towns and Chiang Mai - we knew this when we booked and it’s not a problem for us. It felt like we were getting away from the city.

Would be good if there were more loungers by the pool. Otherwise everything was great!

Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Food quality is good despite a smaller than usual selection compared to regular hotels. Rustic & lush green environment beside the river is pleasant for those who enjoys the natural environment. The indoor jacuzzi in the panorama suite was huge enough for 3 children to soak comfortably together.

The panaroma suite was huge and unexpectedly, simply decorated.
