We loved the pool area, especially the dragonflies! We also loved the location - we could walk to the beach in less than a minute! We felt like we were in quiet gentle oasis - whenever we came back from the noisy dirty Pattaya streets we were in a private little world. We loved it all - the massages, the staff, everything.

We didn't like the beach as much as we liked our hotel !

Our third time in this hotel, nice big rooms and a very romantic patio with swimmingpool

After 3 times staying in this hotel I still dont like the breakfast, for me there are only eggs. I got a big shock when I entered the hotel, I saw a banner of anex tours, which is a cheap Russian travel agency and when I left the hotel in the evening the band was playing Russian music. Luckily there werent a lot of Russians, but if Avalon wants to attract more Russian guests, I have to look for an other hotel in Pattaya.

pool was really nice the food at the pool restaurant was really good, a little slow on bar service maybe due to lack of staff. you walk from swimming pool to the beach across the road, the location of the hotel is very convenient as it is near everything. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. While the hotel made it a nice experience, with a few improvements it could have been truly exceptional. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the poolside restaurant served excellent Thai and European dishes. The staff were friendly, and I’m happy to return—I'll actually be staying again next week for another 10 days.

The TV in the room was quite small and outdated. The staff at the pool area could benefit from additional customer service training. When I requested a glass of ice, I was initially told it wasn’t possible unless I purchased a drink. I had to explain why that approach wasn’t appropriate and requested to speak with the manager—only then was my request fulfilled. Additionally, the designated smoking area was located at the entrance between the main hall and the swimming pool, which caused an unpleasant smell when entering or exiting, or while relaxing nearby. The breakfast was quite ordinary, with limited variety. It would be great to see more options and occasional changes to the menu. Including more Thai fruits would also be a nice touch.

The hotel is an older hotel but very hice cultural thai style decoration with nice spacious rooms and large bathrooms. it also comes with a nice large balcony, we were facing to the pool so it was nice with partial sea view. The pool is nice and big with lot of green around so you have that kind of jungle feeling when you are around which is good. enough sunbeds too.

The bathroom would need a renovation, i would actually prefer to take out the bathtub and just keep a nice large shower place. The wooden floor around the swimming pool needs to be changed or at least cleaned and repaint to look safer, you have the feeling that you can step on something you dont want to. The breakfast is ok but some items were missing despite they shown that its available with the explanation that is already finished (well, need to prepare enough for ppl).

The hotel is in a good location with nice large rooms. I have stayed here before and the staff are always very helpful.

The hotel is looking very worn. The rooms and public areas need a renovation. The gym is poor. Poor equipment (decent set of free weights), no aircon, no mats, no abs facilities, no water. The pool is good but the water chemistry is not right. Too much acid. Please check your pH. Breakfast is ok but please add some muesli or bran flakes to the cereal bar.

Hotel seems well designed with qualified interior architecture and furnitures, pool is delightful, breakfast is various and delicious. We also had dinner, it was delicious too.

There was heavy moisture smell in the room, but after they cleaned, it was not a problem. While having breakfast, the glasses they put for beverages were not clean. Couch and the decorative cover on the bed was dirty. It seems there is noone who is responsible for maintenance of the hotel. I think cleaning ladies are doing their job well but they should check that kind of details.

Having stayed here before, I knew what to expect. It's a beautiful property with a spectacular pool. Located on a lovely beach where the temperature is always HOT. A great holiday destination.

Some maintenance issues are evident but hey...welcome to Thailand!

Beautiful tropical hotel that’s directly on the beach , great pool , breakfast was basic but ok , only negative was the Tv channels didn’t work & no internet also !!

What I liked was the location with more than adequate facilities in a reasonable state of repair at a relatively low price. Big plus with the location is that unlike many Pattaya Hotels it is located away from busy roads and bars so avoiding noise.

Not much, the hotel as is often the case in Thailand was showing signs of wear and tear, most notably being the gym closed, if you had been paying though 4 star hotel prices yes it would have been disappointing but not at this 2 star hotel price and good location. The staff whilst perfectly good and efficient, but did not do anything I can recall to make our stay special, again nothing to complain about least of all at this out of season price, but not as good as it could be.

The room was big with a balcony overlooking the pool .The Hotel is a beach front hotel which was perfect for a dip in the sea and a walk along the beach. Breakfast was good. Plenty of bars and cafes nearby. The swimming pool was lovely surrounded by trees .

The sun beds need updating a few broken ones out. We were told one day there were no towels for at least half an hour so more towels for the pool are needed .
