Beachfront hotel with nice rooms. The beds were very comfortable!

Avoid hiring a moped from the kiosk near the hotel. The guy is a scammer and tried to take more money from us despite us showing proof we did not damage his bikes. Unfortunately the hotel was not quick to back us up and clearly has a relationship with him too. Avoid at all costs!

I want to say a big thank you to the amazing team at Hotel Xanadu Beach Resort for making our stay so special. We stayed for two days to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and everything was just perfect. The hotel gave us the best room, which made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. But what really stood out was the surprise from the restaurant team—they sang a lovely birthday song and brought out a beautiful fruit plate with a candle on top, which was such a thoughtful replacement for a cake. It was such a sweet and memorable moment! The staff were so kind and attentive throughout our stay, and the whole experience felt warm and personal. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this lovely place to everyone. Thank you for making this birthday celebration truly unforgettable!

Big room with comfy beds and pillows. Balcony where you can relax and eat. Cleaner cleaned room and replaced towels friendly. Close to the beach with clear water. Friendly dogs, which is the highlight of our trip. Breakfast has a good selection of food- salad, fruits, Vietnamese food, egg/bacon station, pastry, cereal, ham/sausages, and hot drinks. Free shuttle arriving and leaving the hotel. Polite and friendly staff. Affordable in-house meals. Restaurants close at 6 pm.

Smell of sewer on the road and also in bathroom so close door all the time. Would be nice to have a bottle opener in the bedroom.

Extremely helpful staff and great communication also in English! Sunbeds are provided at a nice area of the beach, pretty clean water great for swimming. Comfortable and clean beds. The departure shuttle which takes you to the pier really makes life easier.

Number of sunbeds is limited and they are very close together. Sometimes the area around the sunbeds was a bit smelly and music in the morning made the area less peaceful. A lot of stray dogs around, but it seems to be like that in a lot of places around the island. Breakfast is okay. Some things in the room were falling apart a little bit (e.g. lever handle of the shower), but still functional, AC worked perfectly!

This is the nicest hotel on one of the most beautiful beaches. The room was large and comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach, where hotel residents have beach chairs available. Breakfast was very good indeed, with a wide choice of Thai and Western food options. The coffee is exceptionally good.

Our room in Block F was furthest from the beach. Not a problem, but there was no view of the sea. The garden behind is attractive. There are several beach restaurants on this small strand. But most of them close between 5 and 6pm, so only one was open for dinner. We were only there one night but the lack of choice would concern me if we'd stayed longer.

The room has got a good size with a very big, comfortable bed....the location of the resort is close to a lovely, almost private little beach and sun lounges are provided for free....the place is not as crowded as Tawaen beach..

I was disappointed about all the rubbish that was floating in the water , and also, lying behind the beaches in general....at some places I even didn't go into the water because it just felt uncomfortable....it's a shame because it surely puts some people off, me included...

The hotel located on Samae Beach, which is more private than those near downtown area. Once we disembarked the boat, we called the hotel to sent a shuttle for the pick-up, free of charge. Our rooms are spacious and walkable to the beach. The hotel provides beach chairs and towels for guests without extra charge. Breakfast is adequate, yet they could do better. They served REAL coffee at the breakfast, not an instant one, though. All staff are courteous. We had a problem with the toilet flush, and got it fixed right away. Food at the restaurant is OK, the taste mostly caters to Western guests who are the majority at the hotel. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again if I revisit the island

The A/C louvers are full of dust like theu have never been cleaned for ages, we were afraid it was blowing dust in to our lung when turn it on. The hotel should provide more pillow instead of one per person. Water pressure in the shower is literally weak. There is no blackout curtains which is hard to sleep when it still light outside

Great beach. Great location. The hotel is slightly outdated and worn out, but still nice and comfy and location is amazing. Breakfast: it's quite unhealthy. Has too much meat in it, bread, jam, butter, coffee is really not good unfortunately, watermelons are pale and not red and juicy, concentrated fruit juice and a lot of small cakes which are not tasty or healthy. The fire show was amazing and fun. But I believe it's only on certain days. The whole grilled fish and French fries from the restaurant menu were delicious. Restaurant staff does not speak much English but very helpful and friendly. They offer beach towels, which is super convenient. They also offer a ride to the port when you check out. It goes there every 30 minutes. If you want to go to the night market, there are taxis there (30thb per person) and taxi bikes (50 thb). I recommend to take bike taxi on top of the mountain and watch the two beaches from above, great view!!

Perfect location, comfortable room with hot water in the shower, amazing night fire show and good breakfast. The hotel is located right on the beach. We had a room with a garden view.

Couldn’t connect the TV to Wi-Fi to watch my own content, instead of Thai channels. When I called on reception and ask to help me with this, nobody came.

This was my 7th visit to Xanadu Resort. Great breakfast, great location on the beach, friendly staff, comfy and clean rooms, nice food in restaurant on the beach, great sun set, nice walks along the beach to view point, could walk to the neighbouring beach (Tien beach). Free hotel sunbeds,
