Really good and friendly English speaking staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Block out curtains very effective. Plenty of car parking. Good security. Now stayed twice and will go back. Excellent value for money. Good breakfast. No lift but it wasn’t an issue for me. Restaurant at night is not open. Plenty of traditional Thai restaurants, coffee shops and laundromats in walking distance. Staff recommended Farang restaurants which were excellent but have to take a taxi or drive. One restaurant recommended was “Ricco Caf” which is one of the best I’ve ever been to in Thailand. Superb menu and wine list. International and fusion dishes. Great live band playing at a reasonably low volume

The homemade goods (bread, jam, vanilla chiffon cake), the breakfast, the friendly staff, the bed/pillows/linen were amazing, quirky decor.

Extremely hard crusted shampoo and soap on the levers of the wall mounted dispensers. Easy to clean with a scraper. A quick solution making bath time for guests a better experience.

The check in was smooth as was the check out , the staff were excellent and very nice and friendly made us very welcome, would definitely stay there again , it was great value for money especially as breakfast was included.

Breakfast was okay but there was really nothing to eat with eggs! The Thai food was good but not a companion for eggs! The room was good and the Queen bed was excellent, extremely comfortable.

I stayed on the 4th floor (my preference) and unfortunately no lift, but luckily I only had one medium carry bag. Parking was tight especially when the hotel is full, so it paid to be parked early!

The staff are nice. There also provide the bicycle which is free of charge to the convenience store. The bed is comfy and the room has a lot of space.

The parking quiet busy. No elevator. Not suitable for the elder.

Everything, the room was very good, quiet and clean and the staff are excellent and speak English fluently enough to make my stay much more enjoyable than most hotels in this city. The breakfast is superb, varied and the home made bread and jam is an extra special enjoyment. The city of Ubon Ratchathani is not really on the tourist map but it should be and the TAT and city fathers should do more to promote it. I can say in all honesty to any tourist visiting it book yourself into The Bliss hotel because you will enjoy your stay. Taxis are readily available to take you any where you want to go and the bus station is just around the corner and a 50 baht taxi ride away.

The lack of any English television news channels but I understand the proprietors reason for this and it made no difference to my enjoyable stay

We where visiting my wife's relatives in the area and for what they charged you couldn't fault the place.It was spotless clean and was only 40 baht 2 shopping centre.The breakfast was very good.If you are looking for a budget hotel you won't do much better than this.

It is a nice hotel with good rooms with all basic necessities and comfort. The family-run business is very welcoming and friendly. They offer homemade bread for breakfast of rare-to-find quality in Thailand (sour doe).

Extremely friendly staff and manager. Excellent value for money and good breakfast. Owner makes his own strawberry jam and homemade bread. Tasted out of this world. Highly recommended to stay.
