The location is convenient if you travel by train. Breakfast was good, many fruits, greens, and a variety of local cheeses. There was a cook preparing individual omelettes if you ask.

The main problem is that it's allowed to smok in the rooms despite the restriction signs. Moreover there are ashtrays in the rooms. As you can expect rooms have corresponding cigarette smell.

Very clean room. Aircon is good. Water pressure strong. Wifi good. Walking distance to train station. Metro and bus stop just a stone throw away. There are a few mini markets & restaurants nearby.

Definitely gonna stay here again when I come back to Ankara! The room was very nice, the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is at the city center, so it was convinient to get around. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful! We enjoyed our stay very much :)

Great, kind, and helpful personnel; Very good breakfast. We enjoyed our travel, and we will go to Akar international hotel, if we travel to Ankara again.

The three rooms close to ours made noise (shutting doors too loud, screaming, etc.) the whole night. We called reception at around 3 am to notify the issue but only a call to the noisy guests was the action taken by the hotel. Before checking out we informed again and the hotel didn't offer any courtesy or service to balance the inconvenience. Very poor service.

The AC and the mini fridge were not working. The shower head was broken. The room was dirty in a general state of disarray. The staff were not able to communicate on a basic level , e.g the waiter did not understand the word bread.
